I walk my life… Emmaus bound… The Pastoral Area Side by side a God Masses & Confessions Whose touch I’ve felt in varied Mary Immaculate grace-gift ways. Sundays: (Vigil) Sat 7pm, And yet – at times – 8am, 11am, 7pm Dismayed… Distraught… Distressed… Weekdays Mon – Fri 7am

I cry—fear-filled— 10am, 7pm, Sat 11am “I had hoped… Holy Days 7pm (Vigil), 7am, 10am, 7pm “I had hoped…” Holy Days that fall on a Saturday And mourn, because—it seems— 7pm (Vigil), 11am, 7pm A God all-giving does not give… Confessions Sat 10.30 - 11am & A God all-present is not there… 6.30 - 7pm

A God all-loving does not touch… St Michael’s And then, in tender tones that mingle Sundays (Vigil) Sat 6.30pm LOVE Sunday 9am & 11am (Family) And understanding of my foolish ways. Our Lady of the Wayside ‘they recognised Jesus at the breaking of bread’ Sundays (Vigil) Sat 6.30pm, (Folk) The disciples encountered Jesus only a few times after that Easter morning, 8.30am, 11am (Family) but their lives were changed completely. What seemed to be the end proved to be the beginning; what seemed to be a cause for fear proved to be a Weekdays Mon -Fri 9.30am cause for courage; what seemed to be defeat proved to be a victory and Saturday 10am what seemed to be the basis for despair proved to be the basis for hope. Holy Days (Vigil) 6.30pm, 10am Jesus encounters us, and we him in the ordinary events of our lives; we Confessions Sat 10.30am & 6pm encounter him in others, those who love us and we them. To celebrate the Risen Christ is to be attentive to the many ways that Jesus encounters us, in the sick, the lonely, the needy and those who accompany us on our faith Parish Office Hours journey. St Michael’s: Mon-Fri 9.30am 12.30pm They bemoan what is no longer, they expect no hopeful sign Bluebell: Mon-Fri 9am - 1pm Till Christ ends their conversation, breaking bread and sharing wine.’

1 Fun Table Quiz Mary Immaculate Open Parish Meeting In Aid of the Oblate Lourdes Fund Since September 2017, parishioners of Mary Immaculate parish have been invited to join in a process of reviewing Friday 20th April 2018 @ 7:30 Mass attendance figures and the times of Masses. As we approach our concluding date for this process (May CIE Hall, Inchicore. th 20 ), a final open parish meeting will take place on Tuesday st Many great prizes to be raffled. 1 May at 7:30pm in the Annexe Room, House of Retreat. As noted in previous circulations, the 7:00am Mass, Monday All are welcome. to Friday, will continue as long as members of the Oblate community are available to offer this service to the Parish. The following proposals will be considered at the meeting: Three weekday evening Masses per week: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 7.00 pm. Saturday 7:00pm (Vigil Mass) to be discontinued or change the Saturday Vigil Mass to 6:00pm on a trial basis. Sunday 8:00am Mass to be discontinued Have one Sunday morning Mass at 11:00am Do you have Keep the Sunday 7.00pm Mass. It is the only evening mass around the area. Creativity and Energy? The successful candidate will be employed by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate who will fund this position for three years, subject to review at the end of the contract.
