The client, a Fortune 200 subsidiary serving building component industry, had started moving to a new Dynamics 365 ERP solution in the US – but experienced a number of issues during the implementation preventing the company from finishing the implementation. The manufacturer started using the new ERP solution and run into multiple issues with the accounting and operations processes in the US. As a result, Canada operations had to stay on the outdated system due to SITUATION delays and budget overruns.
BDO’s team led implementation of the Dynamics 365 solution for the client’s Canada operations, while helping the existing US users become more knowledgeable about the software solution. BDO practitioners used well established project management methodology which enabled transparency and continuous progress. BDO’s expertise in accounting practices and tax laws in the US and Canada helped the client fully utilize available system functionality without SOLUTION additional customizations. End results is a single system in use across North America, delivered above the expectations.
