Fund Af Småsommerfugle Fra Danmark I 1998 (Lepidoptera) Fund af småsommerfugle fra Danmark i 1998 (Lepidoptera) Otto Buhl, Per Falck, Benny Jørgensen, Ole Karsholt, Knud Larsen & Flem ming Vilhelmsen. Buhl, 0., P. Falck, B. Jørgensen, O. Karsholt, K. Larsen & F. Vilhelmsen: Records of Microlepidoptera from Denmark in 1998 (Lepidoptera). Ent. Meddr. 67: 103-112. Copenhagen, Denmark, 1999. ISSN 0013-8851. Thisartide repartson interesting Danish Microlepidoptera collected in 1998, and comments on remarkable tindings from previous years. The classification and nomenelature follow the revised Danish catalogue (Karsholt & Stadel Nielsen, 1998), which is basedon the European checklist (Karsholt& Razowski (eds), 1996). Only one species, Batia lunaris (Haworth, 1828) (Oecophoridae), is reported as new to the Danish fauna. Many specimens were found duringJuly in a church yard in Lolland, flying araund Taxus baccata before dusk. One specimen of Depressaria pimpinellae Zell. was caught at the east coast of Funen. This species has only been reported from Funen and Lolland and not since 1923. Epiblemajunctana (HS.) was bred in more specimens from Inula salicina, and its hitherto unknown bionomy is described. The larva starts mining the stem just above the root, then it is boring into the centre and down under the surface to end out in the smaller roots. Then it moves back to the surface on the outer side of the roots while making a spun tube where i t hibernates. In spring the larva leaves the tube and pupates in a small, tight and strong cocoon close to the sur face. The larva is strongly red on the upper side and yellowish white on the un der side. The infected plant does not showanysign that could reveal the larva. One specimen of Syncopacma polychromella (Rebel, 1902) was caught at light in Lolland. The specimen is regarded as an accidental introduction. It is a res ident of southern Europe. The total number of Danish Oecophoridae is now 28; this results in a total of 1503 species of Microlepidoptera (families Micropterigidae- Pyralidae) found in Denmark. Correspondance to : Småsommerfuglelisten, Zoologisk Museum, Universitet sparkeD 15, DK-2100 København Ø, Danmark. • Fjärilar I Tinnerö Eklandskap Inventering 2014/15
Man brukar även dela in fjärilarna i storfjärilar (s.k. macros) och småfjärilar (s.k. micros) utefter deras storlek.

O’Connor2 1Department of Zoology and Animal Ecology, School of BEES, University College Cork, Distillery Fields, North Mall, Cork, Ireland. e-mail: <[email protected]> 2Emeritus Entomologist, National Museum of Ireland, Kildare Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. Abstract Additions, deletions and corrections are made to the Irish checklist of butterflies and moths (Lepidoptera). Elachista biatomella (Stainton, 1848) is added to the Irish list. The total number of confirmed Irish species of Lepidoptera now stands at 1480. Key words: Lepidoptera, additions, deletions, corrections, Irish list, Elachista biatomella Introduction Bond, Nash and O’Connor (2006) provided a checklist of the Irish Lepidoptera. Since its publication, many new discoveries have been made and are reported here. In addition, several deletions have been made. A concise and updated checklist is provided. The following abbreviations are used in the text: BM(NH) – The Natural History Museum, London; NMINH – National Museum of Ireland, Natural History, Dublin. The total number of confirmed Irish species now stands at 1480, an addition of 68 since Bond et al. (2006). Taxonomic arrangement As a result of recent systematic research, it has been necessary to replace the arrangement familiar to British and Irish Lepidopterists by the Fauna Europaea [FE] system used by Karsholt 60 Bulletin of the Irish Biogeographical Society No. 36 (2012) and Razowski, which is widely used in continental Europe.

Results of the sixth Catalan Moth Nights: 21-25 May 2009. In this report the results of the sixth Catalan Moth Nights (CMN), organized by the Catalan Lepidopterological Society on the nights of 21-25 May 2009, are presented. In this edition of the CMN a total of 51 people took part and returned data from 52 localities in 15 comarques in Catalonia and Andorra. Data are given for the 7,294 speci- mens belonging to 565 species that were observed. It is worth highlighting the first records for Catalonia of Micropterix ibericella Car., Ectoedemia obtusa (Puplesis & Diskus), Caloptilia coruscans (Wlgm), Denisia augustella (Hb.), Cochylis salebrana (Mn) and Idaea alicantaria (Rssr). Resum.

Abstract: 23 species of Lepidoptera from the area of the nature reserve Hörfeld are firstly recorded for Carinthia. Collecting data, distributional information for Austria and ecological remarks are added.
