H.B. 36 Veterans Definition (Rep. P. Ray)

Rep. Ray explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Gary Harter, Executive Director, Veteran's and Military Affairs.

MOTION: Rep. Daw moved to pass H.B. 36 out with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Romero absent for the vote.

H.B. 55 Repeal of Methamphetamine Housing Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Account (Rep. E. Redd)

Rep. Redd explained the bill to the committee.

H.B. 83 Crimes Against Health Care Providers in Correctional System (Rep. B. Daw)

Rep. Daw explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Alan Bennett, nurse supervisor, Utah County Jail and Sheriff Jim Tracy, Utah County Sheriff.

MOTION: Rep. Ray moved to pass H.B. 83 out with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Peterson absent for the vote.

H.B. 86 Vehicle Impound Amendments (Rep. L. Perry)

Rep. Perry explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Matthew Gwynn, police officer, Roy, Utah.

MOTION: Rep. Ray moved to pass H.B. 86 out with a favorable recommendation. The motion failed with Rep. Ipson, Rep. McIff, Rep. Ray and Rep. Redd voting in favor.
