MANDATE The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office is responsible in the delivery of basic social welfare and development programs and services for the poor, needy and disadvantaged so as to enable them to become productive and participating members of the society.

The PSWDO shall uphold the rights and ensure the full integration of disadvantaged Albayanos in the mainstream of development.

VISION

We envision of a department with competent social welfare and development team whose delivery of timely and appropriate social protection programs and services contribute to an improved quality of life of the marginalized sectors of the province.

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT January – December 2019

I. AID TO INDIVIDUAL IN CRISIS SITUATION

The PSWDO in its aim to alleviate the indigent clients from their various crisis situation and regain normal functioning recommended 2,730 clients to avail of financial assistance.

To deliver the service, PSWDO social workers conducted interview and assessment and recommended the following eligible clients in order to address various needs to wit: • Provided in the amount of ₱1,039, 500.00 burial assistance to 366 clients • Provided in the amount of ₱4,994,000.00 medical assistance to 1, 558 clients • Provided in the amount of ₱659,000.00 Emergency Shelter Assistance to 139 clients -served a total of 2, 063 clients with total amount of ₱6, 692,500.00

Counselling and referral service are also done whenever necessary to individuals requiring further assistance or cannot be served by the office.

II. WOMEN WELFARE PROGRAM

The program aims to promote the welfare of the disadvantaged women and provide opportunities to develop their skills and capacities and contribute to their families and communities.

The Albay Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina Nasyonal is the women’s organization being supported and guided by PSWDO. There are 17 city and municipal KALIPI Federations except Legazpi City in the province. There are a total of 15,677 women aged 18-59 years old who registered as members of the organization in the different barangays in Albay. The office also coordinates and works with the concerned national agencies and non- government organizations to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the program.

 FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO DISADVANTAGED WOMEN

Delivered support services to address needs in terms of legal, medical, livelihood and transportation of 16 women in especially difficult circumstances from the different LGUs of Albay. The cost of assistance totaled to ₱48,000.00.

 REGULAR MEETINGS

Participated and facilitated the meetings of the Albay Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina Nasyonal (KALIPI) Federation what is being done monthly to report and update the status of the KALIPI federations to address emerging needs and issues regarding the women welfare in the province. A total of 256,600 cash incentive was provided by city/municipal federation presidents who attended monthly meetings.

 CAPABILITY BUILDING

 Trainer’s Training on Zero Waste Squash Utilization - for Albay KALIPI The Provincial Government of Albay through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) in coordination with the Albay Provincial Agricultural Office (APAO) conducted the Trainer’s Training on Zero Waste Squash Utilization on April 16, 2019 at the Albay Farmer’s Bounty Village, Cabangan, , Albay. The city and municipal KALIPI Presidents and representatives were the participants of this activity. They will serve as trainers in their resoective organizations, hence, are expected to roll out knowledge and skills learned to their fellow members.

During the training, the Resource Person Ms. Diverlyn Nabor, Rural Improvement Club (RIC) Staff discussed personal hygiene and pointers in food handling and preparation as well as the different recipes and tools in preparing squash-based recipes. Participants were divided into 5 groups and had hands on experience by cooking dishes using squash as the main ingredient. Menus prepared were Squash Maja Blanca, Kutsintang Kalabasa, Squash Leche Flan, Squash Doughnut, Rice Squash Roll, Squash Halaya and Squash Seeds Crunch.

 KALIPI Day Sa Magayon 2019 The Albayano Women, once again, have proven worthy of the crown that symbolizes beauty and wit as they showcased their talents and wisdom during the celebration of the Magayon Festival 2019 through the Search for the Ginang Albay KALIPI (Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina National) 2019. The said event is one of the self and social enhancement strategies of the Provincial Government of Albay, headed by Gov. Al Francis C. Bichara, through PSWDO in partnership with the City and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officers who have exerted much effort that contributed a lot in the success of the said event, held at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City.  Conducted Women’s Summit

In observance of the 2019 National Women’s Month Celebration, the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) in partnership with the Provincial GAD Office, conducted the Women’s Summit on March 29, 2019 at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City. This is a gathering of women representatives from different units, national government agencies, non-government organizations and people’s organization.

This special celebration for women featured a showing of indie film entitled “Owl Butterfly” and medical and dental services offered and rendered to participants by concerned Provincial Government departments. Also, handicrafts and other products made by women (Albay KALIPI and DSWD SLP) were displayed and were put to sale. Parlor games as last part of the program were actively participated by the women participants and students from Bicol University and Daraga Community College.

 Conducted 18-day Campaign to End VAW

Spearheaded the annual 18 Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) on November 28, 2019 at Farmer's Auditorium, Albay Farmers' Bounty Village, Camalig, Albay. The activity was participated in by students and teachers from Malabog National High School, Marcial O. Rañola Memorial School, Daraga National High School, Ilawod High School, Ilawod High School, MSWDOs, Albay KALIPI, Albay Children's Organization (ACO), PGA Employees and Guests. Part of the activity was an On the Spot Slogan Making Contest which was joined by 4Ps and school representatives from Albay, , Tabaco and Legazpi City Divisions together with their coaches.

 Conducted KALIPI Year-end General Assembly Amidst the calamity that struck the Province and caused damages among our homes, it did not deter the Organization of Women in Albay, named "Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina" (KALIPI) to gather on December 12, 2019 as they conducted their Year End General Assembly at the Albay Astrodome. The activity participated in by the KALIPI Presidents and the Local Social Welfare and Development Officers (LSWDO) from the different Cities and Municipalities of Albay. It was an opportunity where their talents and skills were showcased to promote women empowerment and unity, being one of the sectors of Albay who contribute to the progress of the Province.

The Highlight of the Year End General Assembly was the Zumba Dance Competition participated by the KALIPI and MSWDO representatives/ Municipal Councilors. won 1st prize with 15,000 cash incentive, got 2nd Prize with 12,000 cash incentive and got 3rd prize with 9,000 cash incentive while the rest of the performers received 5,000 pesos cash incentive each.

III – OLDER PERSONS WELFARE PROGRAM

Consonant with constitutional principles and national laws on senior citizens, this program seeks to promote the welfare of the senior citizens and provide them equal opportunities to ensure that they lead productive and meaningful lives by instituting policies, strategies, mechanisms and services beneficial to their sector. To date, there are 110, 992 persons who registered as senior citizens in the province.

 PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

o Burial Assistance Assistance amounting to ₱2, 275, 000.00 was also extended to families of 455 deceased indigent senior citizens.

o Medical Assistance Assistance amounting to ₱1, 500, 000.00 was also extended to families of 434 indigent senior citizens needing financial assistance for their medication and hospitalization needs.

 INCENTIVES FOR CENTENARIANS

In support to the implementation of RA 10868 otherwise known as the “Centenarians Act of 2016”, 12 living centenarians in Albay received Php 50,000.00 cash incentive each with the grand total of Php 600,000.00 and a Letter of Felicitation from the Provincial Governor and Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution to recognize and honor their contribution to their families and society.

 PROVISION OF ASSISTIVE DEVICES TO SENIOR CITIZENS

To maintain functional independence and to help with the daily activities of elderly despite physical and cognitive decline as their age increases, 237 physically impaired senior citizens were granted wheelchair, 33 beneficiaries of stick canes, 868 beneficiaries of prescriptive eyeglasses and 1,416 beneficiaries of reading eyeglasses. The distribution took place on the different Medical, Dental and Optical Missions as part of the outreach activities of the Provincial Government of Albay.

 REGULAR MEETINGS

The Albay Senior Citizens Association (ASCA), composed of the presidents of the 18 city municipal senior citizens’ associations, convenes every 2nd Tuesday of the month for its regular meeting of the different city and municipal federation presidents who formed part of the attendance. PSWDO provided the meals and recommended for ₱1, 000.00 monthly cash incentive each to show support for their active participation in strengthening the organization and be able to monitor regularly the status of project implementation.

• Php 180,000.00 total cash incentive to be provided to City/Municipal Federation Presidents who attended monthly meetings regularly.

 CAPABILITY BUILDING

o Search for Gayon Lola 2019

Spearheaded by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, the Senior Citizens gathered and gave their all-out performances with grace and poise as they proudly represent their respective city and municipality during the Search for Gayon Lola 2019 last May 3, 2019 at the Albay Astrodome as part of this year’s celebration of the Magayon Festival. o Exposure Tour cum Observation Visit of Senior Citizens in , , Tagaytay City and

The Provincial Government of Albay through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office facilitated the Exposure Tour cum Observation visit of ASCA Officers and OSCA Heads in Manila, Laguna, Tagaytay City and on November 7 – 9, 2019. The said activity aimed to develop new existing innovative community based programs addressing the independent living concerns of Senior Citizens, to be oriented of the best practices/successful stories of the places visited, and to gather ideas and shared experiences with other senior citizens from other places.

o Senior Citizens Year-End General Assembly

The Senior Citizens Year End Assembly was conducted on December 27, 2019 at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Albay headed by Gov. Al Francis C. Bichara through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Dr. Eva A. Grageda. This event was filled with so much love and laughter as the Senior Citizens of the different cities and municipalities of Albay showcased their talents.

The Albay Senior Citizens Chorale also received musical instruments such as acoustic guitar, organ, mic stand and tambourine.

IV. PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PWD) WELFARE

The program is intended to support the full participation and total integration of person with disabilities into the mainstream of our society. To realize these objectives, enabling mechanism, policies and services need to be placed and carried out through the collaboration of government and different stakeholders. To date, there are 12,619 persons who are registered as Persons with Disability.

 REGULAR MEETINGS The total amount of 156,000.00 total cash incentives provided to 27 officers of Albay Federation of Persons with Disabilities (AFPWD) and Albay Women with Disabilities (AWWD) who attended monthly meetings.

 PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE o Provided Php 300,000.00 worth of Medical Assistance to 99 beneficiaries o Provided Php 135,000.00 worth of Burial Assistance to 27 beneficiaries

 PROVISION OF ASSISTIVE DEVICE TO PWDS To aid their mobility, 140 orthopedically impaired persons who received wheelchairs and 5 stick canes. They were present in the awarding ceremony held during the Medical, Dental and Optical Mission sponsored by the Provincial Government of Albay.

 MONITORING OF PWD REHAB EQUIPMENT The Staff of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office conducted monitoring of the PWD Rehabilitation Centers last July 5, 2019 at Oas, Ligao, Guinobatan, Camalig, Tabaco and Tiwi, who received medical equipments which are very useful in their respective therapy centers.

 PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO PWD STUDENTS Students with special needs were given financial assistance to encourage them to pursue their education through the support and loving care of the Provincial Government of Albay a total of 1,461 beneficiaries from the different cities and municipalities of Albay benefited from this undertaking.

 CAPABILITY BUILDING

o Search for Ms. Amazing 2019 In connection to the month long celebration of the Magayon Festival, the PSWDO conducted the first ever Miss Amazing 2019 as the highlight of the PWD Day sa Magayon held at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City. This is a gathering of persons with disabilities from different cities and municipalities of Albay and it is intended to showcase inner qualities of every person with disability to build their self-confidence, to inspire other people and to break barriers for every PWDs all over the province.

The Talent Competition was conducted in the morning and followed by the Coronation in the afternoon. Winners and Special Awardees are as follows: Miss Amazing 2019 - Jhona B. o Conducted PWD Year-End General Assembly The Provincial Government of Albay headed by Gov. Al Francis C. Bichara through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Dr. Eva A. Grageda conducted the PWD Year-end Evaluation Program on December 5, 2019 at Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City. This special event was participated by PWDs for them to showcase their talents as they represent their respective municipalities and cities. Aside from cash incentives, they also received bag organizers. The Visually Impaired Voice of Albay (VIVA Group) also received musical instruments suchs as acoustic guitar, bass guitar, microphone and amplifiers.

V- CHILD WELFARE PROGRAM

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular 2012-120 of the Department of the Interior and Local Government mandating local government units to allocate one percent (1%) internal revenue allotment for its strengthening and implementation of program, projects and activities for children, this program will be undertaken to ensure that the different rights of children are addressed, upheld and protected.

 PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

- Provided 27 children in need of special protection worth P3k each with a total of P81,000.00 - Provided 1/3 share for 12 children in conflict with the law under the custody of RRCY with a total of P75, 240.00

 ADDITIONAL INCENTIVE FOR ACCREDITED CHILD DEVELOPMENT WORKERS (CDWs) 546 accredited out of 868 registered CWDs were given Php 960,000.00 cost of incentives for the 1st Quarter, Php 932,000.00 for the 2nd Quarter, Php 1,340,000.00 for the 3rd Quarter and Php 1,608,000 for the 4th Quarter in various municipalities in Albay. This initiative is one of the many strategies of Albay having the biggest number of accredited CDWs in the .

 Quarterly Meetings of Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) 1st quarterly meeting was conducted on March 28, 2019, 2nd quarterly meeting was conducted on August 14, 2019, 3rd quarterly meeting was conducted on October 22, 2019 and 4th quarterly meeting was conducted on December 9, 2019. Participants who attended representing the Local Social Welfare and Development Office, PNP Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) Officers and City/ Municipality Health Officers, and on government organizations catering women and children.

 Quarterly Joint Meetings for year 2019 of Provincial Committee on Anti Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (PCAT-VAWC) and Provincial Committee for the protection of Children (PCPC) was held on February 7, 2019 (1st Quarter, August 22, 2019 (2nd Quarter), October 30, 2019 (3rd Quarter) and December 19, 2019 (4th Quarter) with participants from different offices of SPA Chairperson of the Committee on Women and Children, Family & GAD, PHO, PPDO, Provincial Prosecutor Albay, DepEd Albay, DILG Albay, APPO, Good Shepherd Home, SAC, President, Liga ng mga , BRTTH, ZMDH, JBDMDH, CSC, Provincial GAD Office, PTO, Budget Officer, Information Officer, PCEDO, DOLE Albay , EDUCO, Children International.

 ALBAY CHILDREN AND YOUTH SUMMER WORKSHOP The Albayano Children and Youth of Albay had its first time ever Summer Camp this year 2019 at Viento De Mar, Bacacay, Albay which is a 3 Day- activity intended to establish the workforce of the Children's Right Advocates through the Federation of the Albay Children and Youth. The Summer Camp was filled with energy boosting activities, ice breakers, workshops and lectures; participated by 41 children and youth from the different Municipalities of Albay, where various field of knowledge and insights were shared among the participants from the invited experts on Law, and Mental and Psychological fields, with the following topics: 1. Children's Rights 2. Juvenile Delinquency 3. Basic Life Support Skills 4. Mental Health Challenges 5. Cyber Safety 6. Leadership The last day of the Summer Camp was the Election of Officers for the Federation of the Albay Children and Youth, who in the future shall be the future Children's Right Advocates of the Albay Province.

 ALBAY CHILDREN’S ORGANIZATION (ACO) The officers of the Albay Children's Organization (ACO) held their 1st quarterly meeting last May 29, 2019 at AECID Hall, APSEMO Building. The main agenda was their plans for the year 2020. Along with the plans and activities, it was also agreed upon that the 1st Saturday of the first month of every quarter shall be the official meeting date for their sector.

 PROVISION OF EYEGLASSES

The office actively participated in the Medical, Dental and Optical Missions of the Provincial Government of Albay (PGA) in the various municipalities in Albay.

As of today, there are 1,147 school children provided with eye glasses.

 EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN In continuation of the Monitoring Activity of the Early Childhood Care and Development Program for Children, the PSWDO staff visited the Child Development Centers of LGU Malilipot, Bacacay and Sto. Domingo last Thursday July 4, 2019; and LGU Daraga, Tabaco City and Tiwi (with Rehabilitation Center) on Friday, July 5, 2019. The said Monitoring activity was spearheaded by the Focal Person for Children's Welfare along with other PSWDO and LGU Staff.

 REGULAR MEETINGS OF CDWS

To ensure the functionality and sustainability of different mechanisms tasked and mandated to implement program for children, the PSWDO assisted in the meetings of the Albay Child Development Workers Federation.

The regular meetings of CDWs are held discussing updates and status report on the welfare of children in Albay, as well as review some laws that pertain to children and their rights. Arising issues and challenges that may be discussed are also dealt and given appropriate actions.

 CONVENTION OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT WORKERS

The 1st Provincial Convention of Child Development Workers was conducted on July 31, 2019 as part of the Child Development Workers Week Celebration held at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City. This is made possible through the efforts of the Provincial Government of Albay in partnership with Department of Social Welfare and Development and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office. It is intended to pay tribute to all the child development workers all over the province for their hardwork and dedication in teaching our children and molding them into a better person. They are indeed a superhero because they have been part of everyone's success today.

o Ang Munting Prinsipe at Prinsesa ng Magayon 2019

The Albay Astrodome was filled with screams and cheers as the people vied for their cute and talented candidates during the Search for Ang Munting Prinsipe at Prinsesa ng Magayon 2019 last May 4, 2019 at the Albay Astrodome.

o Children Year-End General Assembly 2019 (Post Children’s Month Celebration) Children are defined as the building blocks of the nation and hence, the future of the nation depends how well they are brought up. Spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Albay through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, the Children's Month Celebration entitled "Kids Talent Show" was conducted on December 28, 2019 at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City. Various children from the different Child Development Centers of Albay gathered and showcased their talents. Lots of prizes and giveaways were also given to the children. Part of the celebration was the induction of officers of the Albay Children's Organization (ACO) who was facilitated by Gov. Al Francis C. Bichara.

o Child Development Workers’ Year-End General Assembly 2019 The most vital part of a child's growth is their forming years, thus, our Child Development Workers hold the most vital role in building their capacity to learn and relate to other people. The Provincial Government of Albay headed by Gov. Al Francis C. Bichara through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Dr. Eva A. Grageda recognizes the special roles of our CDWs in the lives our children. Our CDWs were awarded with Certificate of Recognition for their unwavering commitment and loyalty as CDWs, with cash incentives during the Year-End General Assembly and Awarding of CDWs held at the Albay Astrodome on December 28, 2019. After the awarding was the talent presentation per municipality with P10, 000.00 incentive. Aside from the performance incentive, each municipality also received stand fans and 32" flat screen television.

o Operation of Bahay Pag-Asa for Girls The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office sustains the management and operation of this residential care facility for children in conflict with the law.

VI- SOLO PARENTS WELFARE PROGRAM

The Albay Solo Parents Federation gathered in their regular meeting last May 28, 2019 at AEICD Hall, APSEMO Building, as they discussed about the following: 1. Evaluation of the Magayon Festival Activity which is the "Albay Solo Parents Day sa Magayon: Ballroom Dance Competition, Albay Solo Parents 2. Constitution and By Laws; and 3. Capacity needs assessment for Solo Parents in Albay to be integrated in the Budget Plans for 2020.

 SOLO PARENTS DAY SA MAGAYON The real life heroes of today's generation are not found flying in the air nor those who wear capes and hide under their masks. The modern day heroes of this generation, are found in every home, doing dishes while cooking and while keeping the house clean and rearing their children all at the same time; wearing aprons or clothes full of stain, and soaked in sweat. PSWDO enjoined the Albay Solo Parents of Albay in the celebration of the Magayon Festival 2019, through the Albay Solo Parents' Day sa Magayon 2019. The event's highlights were the Induction Ceremony of the newly elected officers of the Albay Solo Parents' Federation, federated last March 06, 2019; and the Ballroom Dance Competition, which was participated by 13 cities and municipalities of Albay with the following winners:

Champion - Malilipot, Albay 1st Runner Up - Tabaco City, Albay 2nd Runner Up - Legazpi City, Albay

 NATIONAL & REGIONAL CONSULTATION DIALOGUE WITH SOLO PARENTS ORGANIZATIONS & LGU A successful event of the Solo Parents Consultation Dialogue held at the Elizabeth Hotel, City on November 14 to 17, 2019.

 SOLO PARENTS YEAR-END GENERAL ASSEMBLY The Albay Astrodome was filled with joyful presentations as our beloved solo parents showcased their talents in their Year-End Program on December 26, 2019. Solo parents are known to be one of the superheroes of our society for carrying the burden of raising children alone yet they are always full of hope and perseverance in living up their children' s dreams.

Through the Provincial Government of Albay, headed by Governor Al Francis Bichara, the Albay Solo Parents Federation was established and now has been actively participating in the realization of the thrusts and goals of Albay. This year's Year End Program entitled Solo Parents Christmas Variety Show, hailed the Municipality of Sto. Domingo as best performers and Tiwi, as best in costume, receiving additional 5,000 each aside from the 5,000 incentive to all participated LGUs.

VII – OTHER REGULAR PROGRAM

 REGULAR MONTHLY MEETINGS OF LOCAL SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office continuously conducts regular monthly meeting for municipal and city social welfare and development officers for evaluation and planning for this year’s activities.

 ENHANCED COMPREHENSIVE LOCAL INTEGRATION PROGRAM (E- CLIP) The Provincial Government of Albay has initiated projects and activities that resulted in the identification and organization of rebel returnees living within the province, thereby promoting some of those active members of the rebel movements to return to the fold of the law. PSWDO serves as the lead agency and secretariat of E-CLIP for the monthly meetings, planning of programs and activities and formulation of IRR (Implementing Rules and Regulations). There are 7 former rebels recommended for assistance from the DILG and from PGA.

 PROVINCIAL ANTI-DRUG ABUSE COUNCIL (PADAC) The use of illegal drugs is a serious threat to our health, well-being and national security. It is imperative that the Department of the Interior and Local Government and the Dangerous Drugs Boars accelerate and cascade the campaign against illegal drugs. The Provincial Government of Albay through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office functions in monitoring the monthly/quarterly meeting and technical working group meeting of each municipal and barangay anti-drug council.

 PROVINCIAL NUTRITION COUNCIL The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office serves as one of the members in the Provincial Nutrition Council. Pursuant to the National Nutrition Council Governing Board Resolution No. 1, series of 2009, the Nutrition Committee of each Local Government Unit shall function as the Local Nutrition Cluster and in the context of emergency management shall be considered as a Sub-Structure of the Local Disaster Coordinating Council.

 RELIEF DISTRIBUTION FOR THE TYPHOON TISOY AFFECTED FAMILIES On December 2, 2019, the Province of Albay was threatened and became critical when it was placed under Signal No. 3. For public safety, the PDRRMC headed by the Governor ordered the evacuation of all vulnerable population threatened by flood, landslide, lahar, storm surge and wind to safe public and private evacuation centers. The damage report gathered by the PDRRMC through the APSEMO, show that a total of 23, 258 families were affected by the typhoon. Relief support to the affected populations was conducted by the Provincial Government of Albay through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office and is continuously spearheading early recovery initiatives for the family survivors of the typhoon. A total of 6,413 food packs were distributed to the different cities and municipalities of Albay.

 911 SEARCH AND RESCUE TEAM, SOUTH KOREA

The 911 Search and Rescue Team from South Korea, represented by Chairman Lee Kang Woo and Executive Chairman Kim Jin Man provided assistance and aid to the victims of Typhoon Tisoy especially to the places severely devastated by the typhoon. They conducted survey on the affected households in the Libon Albay and Victory Village, Legazpi City. They also helped in building and reconstructing damaged houses as well as fogging activity and distributed medicines along with the identified needs of the province. Aside from the machines and medicines, the 911 S&R Team also brought with them carpenters to help in the rehabilitation and recovery measures.

 EXTENDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE VICTIMS OF EARTHQUAKE IN MINDANAO – NOVEMBER 9, 2019 The Provincial Government of Albay together with the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Albay and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office extended a financial support to the victims of earthquake in North , and Davao City who received 500,000 pesos each for a total of 1.5 million pesos.
