It explains the County Council’s statutory obligations under the relevant legislation and outlines the activity carried out to ensure that these duties have been met. 2.0 POLICY POSITION, BUDGETARY AND EQUALITY IMPLICATIONS, AND LINKS TO COUNCIL PLAN 2.1 The County Council’s policy is for annual renewal of the General Safety Certificates following receipt of satisfactory reports from the Safety Advisory Group.
