The conductors wish to thank the members of University Singers for their dedication and preparation. We would also like to thank Dr. Stegall for his instruction and support throughout this process and over the course of our time at Western Illinois University.

This recital is offered in partial fulfillment of the Master of Music Degree at Western Illinois University. GRADUATE CONDUCTORS Lucas Overton is a choral graduate assistant pursuing a Master of Music degree at Western Illinois University where he studies choral conducting with Dr. James Stegall. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from WIU in 2004. Luke has taught vocal music at Cambridge Lakes Charter School in Pingree Grove, Illinois and De Soto Junior High School in De Soto, Missouri. His choirs have received awards at contests and festivals in Kansas City, , and St. Louis. Luke served as Vice President for Junior High Choirs on the Missouri Music Educators East Central District Executive Board. Additionally, he has performed with the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale in Wheaton, Illinois and the DuPage Theater in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Luke is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the Illinois Music Educators Association, the National Association for Music Education, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He resides in Macomb with his wife Cristen, a theater director for Macomb Public Schools.

Andrew Gibb-Clark holds a degree in Music Education from Greenville College. Presently, he is completing the requirements for a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting at Western Illinois University. He is a conducting student of Dr. James Stegall and also serves as a choral graduate assistant. Andrew has taught K-12 music for the New Berlin School District near Springfield, Illinois. While in Springfield, he was a singer and board member for the Springfield Choral Society. He has also been Director of the Music and Youth Program at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, Illinois. Andrew is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the National Association for Music Education, and the Illinois Music Educators Association. He lives in Macomb, Illinois with his wife Maureen, who is completing a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at WIU.
