In exercise of power vested in me under Sub-Rule (2) of Rule- 291 of the West Bengal Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989, I, Surajit Kar Purkayastha, Commissioner of Police, Kolkata with a view to providing for safe and uninterrupted movement of vehicular Traffic do hereby order that Vehicles(viz. Cycle van, hand cart, pull cart,Bi-Cycle), shall be restricted in the City under Kolkata Police jurisdiction from entering into or plying along the roads, streets and thoroughfares or portion thereof falling within the area mentioned in the schedule below for the purpose of the said Rule. This order shall supersede all previous order or notification in this regard.
