Motivate your staff

Many companies find our business volunteering days offer fantastic team-building and staff development opportunities. Work For Wildlife days give your staff the chance to take part in important conservation work on our fabulous nature reserves. Whether it is an informal team-building day or simply the chance for your staff to get together and put something back into the community, we always welcome extra pairs of hands.

Volunteering with Sussex Wildlife Trust is a valuable source of man power for us and we welcome all who can commit their time and energy. A Few Other Important Things to Remember:

• Volunteers will need to make their own way to the reserve for about 9.30am. • Car sharing is a good idea as parking is quite limited at some of our sites. • Our reserves tend to be quite remote; there are unlikely to be cafés, shops or lavatories nearby (but there are always some handy bushes). • Wellies, old warm clothes, insect repellent, a packed lunch and a thermos of tea are common essentials to bring. • It's worth bringing cameras and binoculars if you have them, and we'd love to see your photos, stories and blogs about your day with us. • Most activities will go ahead in rain, snow, wind and sometimes even sunshine! • The day normally ends at around 3.00pm.

To book places contact Mark Anscombe on 01273 497522 or [email protected]

Above all, we hope you will enjoy volunteering with the Sussex Wildlife Trust.
