Friday August 13th - Friday August 20th Daily Goddess Maha Lakshmi Abhishekam, Alamkaram and Archana Friday August 20th Sri Varalakshmi Vratam At Shiva-Vishnu Temple, we will be celebrating auspicious Sravana masam with Ashta Lakshmi puja with daily abhishekams for Goddess Maha Lakshmi starting on Friday August 13th and concluding on Friday August 20th with Varalakshmi Vratam event. During the eight days, daily abhishekams will be performed for Goddess Maha Lakshmi, adorned with special alamkarams every day and worshipped with religious fervor and devotion.

On Friday August 20th Varalakshmi vratam will be performed. It is an important puja observed largely by women, invoking the blessings of Goddess Maha Lakshmi on them, and their family. Goddess Maha Lakshmi is the embodiment of prosperity and auspiciousness. It is believed that worship of Goddess Lakshmi will bring health, wealth and prosperity.

Vara means boon. Needless to say, performing puja (in the form of a Vratam) to Goddess Varalakshmi will bring in boons to those who perform with utmost devotion. Sponsors are also entitled for Monthly Abhishekam $ 301 for Goddess Maha Lakshmi for one year.
