The latest addition to the Hotel du Vin collection opens its doors

Hotel du Vin Stratford-upon-Avon Stratford-Upon-Avon: Hotel du Vin has opened the doors of its latest hotel, set in the heart of the historic Stratford-upon-Avon. The brand new hotel, spread across two beautifully converted grade II-listed townhouses, encompasses everything that Hotel du Vin is renowned for. Guests can choose from 46 stunning bedrooms and suites, based on a contemporary development of the traditional Hotel du Vin style. Colourful accents, stylish wooden furniture and quirky artwork mix with the dark greys, teals and greens that adorn the walls. Luxurious roll top baths, large comfy beds and the finest Egyptian cotton come as standard. Complementing the rooms is the Bistro, which, with a focus on home-style French cooking, robust earthy dishes and slow-cooked foods, serves seasonal favourites such as Cassoulet Classique – with confit duck, smoked Toulouse sausage and pancetta – Bouillabaisse, and Steak Haché. Nestled next to the bistro is a beautiful courtyard, ideal for Al Fresco dinning when the sun comes out. A stunning event space that accommodates up to 70 people also provides the perfect venue for meetings, weddings and celebrations, along with two smaller private dining rooms for 10-12 guests. Just a ten-minute walk from the famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the hotel is right in the centre of town on Rother Street – which is also home to the town’s famous and historic farmer’s market. “Stratford-upon-Avon feels like such a natural pairing for Hotel du Vin, we’re really looking forward to welcoming guests into the hotel,” commented Nicolas Jefford, General Manager at Hotel du Vin & Bistro Stratford-upon-Avon. “The team have worked incredibly hard over the last few months to ensure we can bring a much-needed boutique hotel and bistro to the area, which is befitting of a town with so much character and history. It’s the ideal base for visitors and locals alike to stay, wine, dine and meet in comfort and style, something we like to think the Bard himself would have enjoyed.” This is the latest addition to Hotel du Vin’s family of luxury boutique , and will soon be joined by another – The Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin in Clifton Village, . - ENDS - Press Contacts Hudson Sandler Email: [email protected] 020 7796 4133
