Ideally, no one should have to prepare for something like General Awareness. But sadly, we don't live in an ideal world. And even those, who try to prepare with the help of websites, news services, etc. suffer from too much information. They cannot filter the relevant information and often give up on GK all-together. It should not be that way. Even if you can devote just 3 hours a week to GK from now on, you will be very well placed when the time comes. It doesn't take much because you don't need a high score to clear the cutoff.
