Esbjerg gennemførte dog en kamp mod KB, der lavede 239 på de aftalte 45 overs, men det viste sig ikke at være nok takket være en gærdestand på 121 mel- lem Rubin- tvillingerne. Dagen efter var KB i Herning og igen spillede man en reduceret kamp pga. af regnvejret.
