DIRECTION

ILFORD COUNTY COURT, DEWSBURY COUNTY COURT AND COUNTY COURT.

1. This Direction is given by Peter Handcock, Chief Executive of Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service, on behalf of the Lord Chancellor after consulting the Lord Chief Justice in accordance with section 2(3) of the County Courts Act 1984. It has effect from 2nd April 2012, which is the date when the courts listed above cease to be held.

Ilford County Court

2. Romford County Court takes on all the localities within the former district of Ilford County Court.

Dewsbury County Court

3. The district previously served by Dewsbury County Court is divided between, County Court, Halifax County Court, Huddersfield County Court, Leeds County Court and Wakefield County Court as follows:

Bradford County Court takes on the localities of Birkenshaw, Drighlington and East Bierley.

Halifax County Court takes on the localities of Scholes, Oakenshaw and .

Leeds County Court takes on the localities of Churwell, Gildersome and Morley.

Wakefield County Court takes on the localities of East Ardsley, Ossett and Tingley.

Huddersfield County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Dewsbury County Court.

Keighley County Court

4. The district previously served by Keighley County Court is divided between Bradford County Court, and Skipton County Court as follows:

Bradford County Court takes on the localities of , , Calverley, Clayton Heights, Cottingley, Crossflatts, , , , Flappit Springs, , Hallas Bridge, Harden, Harecroft, High Eldwick, Micklethwaite, Ryecroft, Sandy Lane and .

Skipton County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Keighley County Court.
