We are delighted to invite you to this year’s School Leaders Conference at Stock Brook Manor Country Club. We are building on a successful series of conferences and this year our theme will focus on Being Well, featuring the well-being of all children and staff, including those in leadership.

Revd Andy Griffiths Andy coordinates the training of new ministers for the Church of Eng- land in East London and . Before taking up his present post 18 months ago he was a Vicar and School Governor for 12 years; before that he was an English teacher.

Tatiana Wilson Tatiana is an Education Adviser for the Diocese of Exeter. Her work fo- cusses on ‘Projects and Vulnerable Pupils’. Most recently she has been working with partners on developing national guidance for schools – Mental Health and Wellbeing: Towards a Whole School Approach which can be found on the ’s website.

Nick Booth Nick has been a Headteacher for the past 12 years, five of which have been at St Mary’s Church of England Primary School in Southend-on- Sea. Previously, he has led an amalgamation between an infant and junior school, choosing to affiliate the new school created to the Church of England in order to improve the quality of RE and assemblies. He is currently undertaking a course of study with his Leadership Team on embedding the Church’s Christian characteristics of hope, wisdom, community and dignity as outlined in ‘Deeply Christian – Serving the Common Good’.

Phil Brown Phil is Headteacher of All Saints Maldon, pioneers of the Up Project. This project aims to establish a formal link between the pupils of the School with the residents of Longfield dementia care home. Canon Richard Noakes Richard is the Leeds Diocesan Director of Education. He taught RE in secondary schools in Middlesbrough and worked at York St John Univer- sity for 20 years in teacher education and theology. From 2004 he be- came Head of the Department of Theology and Religious Studies and Director of the Centre for Church School Education. In 2014 he was sec- onded to work for the new Diocese of Leeds to help shape education policy. In January 2015 he was appointed as Director of Education. In 2019 he was made a Capitular Canon of Ripon Cathedral and sits on Chapter.

Dan Finn Dan joined the Archbishop of York Youth Trust in June 2011 to coordi- nate the Young Leaders Award. From 1st August 2013, he became the new Director of The Archbishop of York Youth Trust. He has strategic oversight for the Youth Trust’s work including the grant making pro- gramme, Young Leaders Award in Schools and the Trusts’ partnerships and projects. Dan manages the staff team and works alongside the board of trustees to ensure the success of the Trusts’ aims and objec- tives.

Bishop Stephen Cottrell Stephen Cottrell is the Bishop of Chelmsford, serving Essex and East London. He is a member of the Church of England’s Committee for Mi- nority Ethnic Concerns, Bishop Protector for the Society of St Francis, and Chair of Church Army, an Anglican Society for evangelism and social outreach. He is a member of the House of Lords and is on the Select Committee for Communication. He is a well-known writer and speaker on evangelism, spirituality and catechesis.
