Choir Program by Diamond Walker

Mrs. Danyelle Hillman, the new choir teacher, is graduate of Arthur Hill High School and Saginaw Arts and Science Academy. After her high school years, she attended Saginaw Valley State University where she studied in music edu- cation. This is her fourth year working in the Saginaw Public School District and she has taught vocal music for 12 years.

In high school she was known for her musical talents. She competed in many competitions and won first place in classical piano. Her favorite subjects in high school included social studies and math. When she’s not busy she enjoys spending time with her family.

With the music program Hillman hopes to show students the different types of music and expose students to other unique styles of music. Her goal for the 2018-2019 school year is to hopefully plan more musical concerts, and she is looking forward to the holiday musical concert.
