Thursday, August 27, 2020 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 3 Days Dirty 3 Days Dirty are the pioneers of the ‘Sit-Down Sound,’ which pays homage to their grandfathers who fought tirelessly to overtake the harsh conditions in the factories of Flint, Michigan. Their eclectic mix of classic rock, motown, blues, and country is reminiscent to the music that their fathers listened to every day in the General Motors shops, and is exactly what 3 Days Dirty embodies. The band is comprised of three talented Michigan country boys, Alan D. Yenglin, John Vance and Ross Mead. Coming from vastly different musical backgrounds, they blend their unique takes on rock, country and soul for a fnished product that needs a genre of its own. Their debut single “Shit Like That” was a collaborative effort that brought Alan and John together, and as time progressed Ross was scouted out and promptly brought on board to round out their vision. As their sound evolved, the hits kept coming. With powerful riffs, strong vocals, and a beat that makes you want to get up and dance, 3 Days Dirty's second single “Bounce” has been climbing charts and becoming a staple for radio stations around the U.S. and the U.K. “Bounce” was written by award winning songwriter Lonny Ray and produced by Platinum album producer Bernard Terry. Their latest release, “Bumper Crop” came to be because Alan had an idea that a song should be written specifcally for a line dance that would bring people of all ages together. With the help of Steve Reynolds Dance Studio in Clio, Michigan, that dream came to life and the official 3 Days Dirty line dancing tutorial video has been released to the public. Since then, 3 Days Dirty fans from around the world have been doing 'The Bumper Crop,' eager for their chance to join together once venues begin to reopen. It has been an exciting journey thus far, and with every song released, more fans are getting 3 Days Dirty. With three songs written, produced and fnalized, and with many more to come, 3 Days Dirty has sparked an undeniable chemistry that is set to turn the country music feld on fre.
