Lonavala [rev_slider lonavala] First of all, thank you for coming to this great tourist spot : Lonavala and a Hearty Welcome. We always like the place, the town or the city where we live. We have a soft corner for it; there is a feeling of love for the place. Man was created from the nature. Nature has adopted man right from the beginning. Nature accompanies us in its different manifestations. Hence this nature is our friend. And any place that receives nature’s bounty becomes a well-known place Lonavala is one such place where nature is present in all its splendour. Lonavala has become famous because of nature’s gift. Lonavala has been blessed with valleys, hills, Milky WaterFalls, Lush Greenery and pleasant cool winds. This region full of natural beauty is a friend and we all are proud of it. Words are not enough to describe the beauty of this place. Lonavala is an epic poem created by God. Beautiful mountain ranges trying to reach the sky are sites that please the human mind and give an experience of heavenly pleasure. The morning sun rising over here appears as if it is sprinkling rose water all over. Chirping birds gently awaken oneself and all of this makes it a really Good Morning. The whole place is covered with a thick blanket of fog early in the morning; this is how the day begins here. OUR PROGRAM FIRST DAY - Mumbai – Lonavala (95 Kms / 2-3 Hrs) Depart from Mumbai towards Lonavla. Lonavala is a popular hill station in the western region of the state Maharashtra. Lonavala, located by Sir Elphinstone, the then Governor of Bombay Presidency in 1871, derived its name from a Sanskrit word Lonavli means caves. Monsoon is the best climate with waterfalls, thriving lakes with full of water and lush greeneries all around. Chikki, the hard candy sweet, is a specialty item in Lonavala and is famous among the visitors to Lonavala. Arrive Lonavala and check in at hotel. After lunch visit local sightseeing places visit like Karla caves - a complex of cave shrines built by Buddhist monks around 3rd to 2nd century B.C. Also visit famous temple of Goddess Ekvira Devi present near cave. Later visit Wax Museum - The 'Celebrity Wax Museum', modeled on the famous Madame Tussauds in London, is located only 3 km away from the railway station at Varsoli, near Toll Plaza is a new attraction for the tourists. Evening free for Shopping in the market. Overnight stay in Lonavla. ”SECOND ”After BOOK NOW Send Matheran [rev_slider matheran] Matheran was discovered by Hugh Malet in 1850. The British developed Matheran as a popular tourist resort. At an elevation of around 800m (2,625 ft) above sea level Matheran is a hill station located about 100 km from Mumbai. Matheran literally means jungle on top. All vehicles (Except emergency vehicles) are banned here. The roads are not tarred and are made of red laterite earth – The only modes of transport are on Horseback, by man-pulled rickshaw, or on foot. Every one living in cities needs this sort of change once in a while. Old British-style architecture has been preserved in Matheran and most structures are now heritage structures. Matheran has been declared an eco sensitive region by the Union Environment Ministry (GoI). OUR PROGRAM FIRST DAY - Mumbai – Matheran (75 Kms / 2 Hrs) Drive towards Matheran. Arrive in Matheran and take a horse/hand cart/walk to the top. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Spend the rest of day at your own leisure. Night stay at hotel. SECOND DAY - Matheran Local Sightseeing After breakfast one can hire a horse for local sightseeing covering 12 points. Matheran's hills offer some of the most stunning views of the landscape. Back to hotel in evening. Overnight stay in Matheran. THIRD DAY - Matheran – Mumbai Departure After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed towards Mumbai on arrival drop at residence / Airport / Railway Station with memorable experiences of tour. BOOK NOW Send Alibaug [rev_slider alibaug] A small, idyllic town on the narrow strip of the Arabian Sea, at the southern tip of Mumbai, Alibagh or Alibaug, is fringed with tall coconut trees and golden sandy beaches lapped by the ocean. Apart from the quaint village houses, it also has farm houses of Mumbai’s affluent folk. Nearly 300 years old, Alibaug was founded in the 17th century by Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre, a naval chief of Shivaji’s kingdom. The Maratha’s made Alibaug a Taluka in 1852 and named it Shribag.Because Alibaug was not connected to the mainland by road at that time, the only way to get here was through the sea from Revas, Dharamtar or Mankule. However, the construction of the Dharamtar Creek opened its doors to a wider public, connecting it to metros like Mumbai. OUR PROGRAM FIRST DAY - Mumbai – Alibaug (100 Kms / 2 Hrs) Meet, assist and drive to Alibaug. Arrive Alibaug and check in at hotel. Later visit the beaches to spend leisure time. Night stay at hotel/resort. SECOND DAY - Alibaug Local Sightseeing After breakfast, visit the Kashid Beach which is at about a 30 kms drive from Alibaug. Kashid has 3 km stretch of beach tucked in between two rocky hillocks. It is by far the best beach in this part of the Konkan region. Return to the hotel in the evening for a comfortable overnight stay. THIRD DAY - Alibaug – Mumbai Departure After breakfast check out from hotel and drive towards Mumbai with sweet memories of tour. BOOK NOW Send Ganapatipule [rev_slider ganpatipule] Sparkling blue waters, endless stretches of golden or silver sand, sun beams dancing through the swaying palms, waves playing with the sand dunes, a cool breeze whispering sweet nothings in your ear. This is the land of Ganpatipule, one of Maharashtra’s almost virgin beaches. Nestled in the greenery is a nearly 4000 year old landmark the Swayambhu GanpatiTemple (Swayambhu means a self-originated idol, Ganapati). It is flooded by thousands of devotees and tourists every year. Ganpatipule, the Lord of the ‘ganas’ or army and “pule” means sand dunes. It is one of the ‘Ashta Ganapatis’ (eight Ganpatis) of India and is known as ‘Paschim Dwar Dewata’ (Western Sentinel God). Ganapatipule is a small village, serene, sedate and unspoilt. The beach here is still natural and pristine as ever. And traveling by road is an experience by itself. The vast ‘Konkan stretch abounds with scenic greenery There are narrow mud-roads, the earth is red and the roofed houses with clean courtyards add a quaint touch to the panorama. The local vegetation includes fruit-bearing trees like mango, betelnut, banana, jackfruit, coconut etc. OUR PROGRAM FIRST DAY - Mumbai – Chiplun - Ganpatipule (340 Kms / 7 Hrs) Early in the morning proceed towards Ganpatipule. Enroute visit Parshuram Mandir just 12 Km before Chiplun. This Mandir is dedicated to Bhargavram or Parshuram. The combination of Hindu, Muslim and European architecture is seen in this temple. There is a temple of Renuka, mother of Lord Parshuram, behind the Parshuram temple. There is a tank called as Banganga Talav which is believed to be made by Parshuram by arching five arrows to the ground. There is a festival every year on the Mahashivratri Day. After darshan proceed to Dervan to see the artificial site of Shiv Srushti. This is a marvelous place 14km from Chiplun, on Mumbai Goa Highway where you can watch the entire life history of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharajah through pictures and statues. From visitors point of view Dervan has cultural importance. After Dervan proceed to Ganapatipule. On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening free to explore the town and beach. Overnight stay in Ganpatipule. SECOND DAY - Ganpatipule Local Sightseeing After breakfast proceed to sightseeing tour covering Ganapati Swayambhu Temple the 400-year-old Ganapati Swayambhu Temple, located on the foothill, and an important place of homage. It is said that Ganapatipule is one of the eight significant Ganapatis (Ashta Ganapatis) of India. After darshan proceed towards Malgund, a kilometer away from Ganapatipule, home town of famous Marathi poet Keshavsoot who pioneered modern Marathi poetry. Visit his beautiful monument and the museum there, which is gives information about modern day Marathi poets. Also visit Ratnagiri, the district town of Ganapatipule. Visit the home of Lokmanya Tilak, now Tilak Smarak. The first ever temple built for non-brahmins called Patit Pawan Mandir, the Ratnadurg Fort, Bhagivati Bunder, a sea port and the Coconut Research Centre. Also, stop at Velneshwar, to visit the old Shiva Temple and the beach. You could relive moments from history, at Thibaw Palace, built in 1910-11, for the King and Queen of Burma, who were exiled. Later visit Jaigad Fort, 35 km away from Ganapatipule located at the entrance of the river Sangameshwar. In the evening return back to Ganapatipule. Overnight stay in Ganpatipule. THIRD DAY - Ganpatipule Departure After breakfast return to Mumbai on arrival drop at residence / Airport / Railway Station with memorable experiences of tour.
