One of hip-hop’s finest, Oakland rap artist Yukmouth, returns with a new mixtape, “All Out War Mixtape Vol.2” along with a few of his legendary hip-hop and rap artist friends, The Regime: Tech N9ine, Gonzoe, Poppa Lq, Monsta Gunjah, Yung Skrilla, Menace, Dru Down, Nyce, Ampichino, Chino Nono, The Fleet and The Bergotta.
“We started the regime in 1997 after the song, “Killaz On The Payroll” recorded for The Luniz album on LUNITIK MUZIK. The song had a crazy regional buzz so we kept it moving and here we are, back in ya’face for the second time,” says Yukmouth.
Most noted for his platinum selling status and legendary hit single “I Got Five On It,” by way of his dynamic duo group, The Luniz. Yukmouth has more than six albums under his belt, launching a new medical marijuana candy bar from Bling Candy Co., two internationally distributed DVD’s entitled “United Ghettos of America” and a Porno entitled “Yukmouth’s Big Booty Stallions,” coming to DVD player near you.
The first single from the “All Out War Mixtape Vol.2” is “Stupid Slapp” featuring Gonzoe, Yukmouth, and Poppa LQ. The new mixtape features blazin tracks from San Diego sluggers, DJ Fingaz and Dow Jones, plus Ric Roc, Sean-T, Joel, Demolition Men and more.
Heavy–duty heat can be heard on songs such as “Jelly Sickle” featuring Tech N9ne and the Bay legend E-40, “Payback” with another legend C-Bo, along with Tha Realest, bay area rap artist Jacka and Gonzoe, “See You in the Streets” featuring members of The Regime, Young Roscoe and 151. “All Out War Mixtape Vol.2” not only represents the west, but also unites the east, down south, and mid-west. Artists on the mix tape reside nationwide.
Following the mix tape, Yukmouth will be back with a vengeance on his new double album “Million Dollar Mouthpiece” dropping in the fall. He is also the host of DJ Juice’s Bay Area Collection Vol. 3 and will soon be downloadable via UrbanWorld Wireless ring tones.
