!! Use good equipment and outfit the shop to replicate where practical (i.e. Digital protractors, Smart Levels, etc. !! Take general and specific photos !! Always take photos of important items, areas !! Always take check measures to verify your other measures !! Add measures to photos if possible !! If passing to another person, a video walkwalk--thruthru is helpful !! Establish control lines or reference points to start from !! Make up generic, specific job measurement templates (i.e. stairs, doors, gate openings, etc.), so items are not forgotten
