Source: KidsPeace Admissions data, 2017. 5 COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES KidsPeace provides community-based outpatient services to children, families and communities in Pennsylvania, Georgia and Maine, as well as through select foster care offices. Services include acute partial hospitalization, programs for children with autism, family and individual counseling, diagnostic services, medication management, urgent care and walk-in screenings, among others. This service is a diversion from emergency rooms, links individuals to services, and helps decrease a potential crisis. The 120-bed facility provides intensive psychiatric services to clients ages 5-21 in serious crisis. George Miles Source: KidsPeace Quality Assurance, Outcome Studies and Research, 2017. 8 HOSPITAL FOSTER CARE In 2017, KidsPeace Foster Care offices served 1,462 children across seven states – Maine, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and Indiana. Services include therapeutic, traditional and respite foster care. (For information about KidsPeace foster care services in specific areas, visit the webpage of the office nearest you at www.fostercare.com/locations) We provide many of our older foster teens with life skills training to help them prepare for independent living. We are always available to help children and parents deal with any issues that arise, and we are champions of achieving permanency for the children
