PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This course provides expertise in leadership management, healthcare finance, and human resource management in order to maintain excellence in service and patient care.

With the support of Sunway University and Sunway Medical Centre, the Harvard Office of Global Education has developed the Southeast Asia Healthcare Leadership (HMS-SEAL) Program to ensure that emerging healthcare leaders in Malaysia, Southeast Asia and Australasia have access to the world’s leading authorities in safety, quality, complex organizational management and health leadership.

The program utilizes a blended learning format that combines live workshops with recorded online on-demand lectures, and live webinars. It also makes thorough use of simulations, case discussions, and site visits to enhance learning.

Participants who achieve the program objectives are granted a Harvard Medical School Certificate of Completion and are eligible to become Associate Members of the Harvard Medical School and Alumni Association.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The program employs an innovative pedagogic model of blended learning that combines live teaching with recorded online lecture material. The program curriculum is comprised of virtual class meetings held via webinar, self-paced study via recorded online lectures and three in-person workshops.

TUITION REDUCTION INFORMATION There are a limited number of scholarships supported by Sunway University and Sunway Medical Centre that are available for students in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, Vietnam, Lao DR, Cambodia and Myanmar. Preference is given to candidates employed in public institutions or non-governmental organizations. Harvard Medical School will provide tuition reduction to candidates of high merit who are citizens and currently residents in low-to-middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank).
