FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, July 16, 2009 CONTACT: Arthur Triche, Jon Steinberg or Jason Roose, Hawks Media Relations (404) 878-3800 HAWKS TO HOST MINI-CAMP NEXT WEEK AT PHILIPS ARENA 2009 Draft Picks Jeff Teague and Sergiy Gladyr Lead Group of Rookies, Free Agents ATLANTA, GA ----- The Atlanta Hawks will host a mini-camp next week on the Philips Arena practice court, with 2009 Hawks draft picks Jeff Teague (19 th overall) and Sergiy Gladyr (49 th ) headlining the group of prospects. Additionally, Atlanta’s 2005 second round pick Cenk Akyol (from Turkey) is expected to participate. Other notable free agents include two-year NBA veteran John Lucas III, former L.A. Clippers first-round pick Yaroslav Korolev and former Georgia Bulldog Sundiata Gaines. Following physicals on July 20 th , the Hawks will hold an afternoon workout from 4-6 p.m. Two-a-days are set for Tuesday and Wednesday from 10-12 noon and 4-6 p.m, with a single session scheduled for Thursday morning from 10-12 noon. The final 30 minutes of each morning session will be open to the media. Media should enter the building through the auxiliary media entrance on Park Avenue West.
