Day 01: Arrival Delhi on Your Arrival at Delhi, You Will Be Met by Our Representatives and Transferred to the Hotel Day 01: Arrival Delhi On your arrival at Delhi, you will be met by our representatives and transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay after arrival. Day 02: Delhi After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi. Day 03: Delhi-Agra In the morning after breakfast drive to Agra by a luxury car. Before entering into Agra, visit Akbar's Mausoleum at Sikandra. Overnight stay at Agra. Day 04: Agra After have the breakfast start visiting to Agra with Taj Mahal & Agra Fort & overnight stay at Agra. Day 05: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur Proceed to Jaipur in the morning. En-route stops to visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was once an imperial capital of the Mughal emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Visit City Palace, Jantar Mantar before check in the hotel Overnight in the hotel at Jaipur. Day 06: Jaipur After breakfast an excursion to the magnificent Amber Fort, Jaipur. You may enjoy a ride on elephant back while you climb the steep hill to the massive fort. On this luxury tour s you go on excursion to the Hawa Mahal, the ancient observatory and the City Palace. Stay overnight. Day 07: Jaipur - Udaipur After breakfast we point towards Udaipur enroutes a glorious tourist place Pushkar the holy city with monks. On arrival visit City Palace. It is being one of the most romantic places all across the globe. Back to hotel and stay overnight. Day 09: Udaipur - Goa After breakfast proceed to airport to have the flight for Goa. On arrive in Goa check in the hotel and refresh yourself. Evening free for leisure and overnight stay in hotel. Day 10: Goa Goa, the "Pearl of the Orient" and a "Tourist Paradise", has specially know as for its spectacular beaches and luxury hotels . After breakfast you visit the magnificent Dudhsagar Waterfall is perched in the high peaks of the Western Ghats and is a sight to behold especially in the monsoons when it is in full and furious flow. There are many old churches, monuments, temples and museums that attract a tourist most. It is also known for its temples and world glorious architecture including the Basilica of Bom Jesus in Old Goa, which makes it one of the biggest Christian pilgrimage sites in Asia. In the evening back to hotel and stay overnight. Day 12: Goa - Mumbai After breakfast have the flight to Goa. Your flight to Mumbai is scheduled as per your setup. Mumbai, the largest and the most multicultural city, has a historic tradition of powerful civic activism dedicated to the cause of a better life for all its citizens. Here you have an excursion tour to Gateway of India, Haji Ali Mosque, Town Hall, University Buildings, Sir J. J. School Of Art, Crawford Market Chowpatty Beach (GIRGAUM) and Elephanta-World Heritage Site. In evening back to hotel and stay here overnight. Day12: Goa - Delhi You flight is scheduled to Delhi as per your setup. Afternoon check in hotel and rest of the day at leisure with the visit visit in Delhi for its local markets as Chandni Chowk & Connaught place, and overnight stay in hotel. Day13: During day time visit Delhi During day time visit Delhi as per schedule. It has plethora of sites and monuments which are reminders of the kingdoms that ruled over it. At the outset a presentation was made by the PMC of Ministry of Tourism covering following agenda items: Brief on Project Achievements Review of Semi-commercial clause in MoU Review of reasonability of rates for SEL/Red Fort Evaluation and approval of new Vision Bids Short listing of new Expression of Interest The Committee then deliberated as follows: 3. SEMI-COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES: The Committee took note of the amendment of the project guidelines and the inclusion of the semi-commercial clause in the project guidelines and also in MoU text on basis of the decisions taken at the 5th Oversight and Vision committee. Secretary (Culture) suggested that Clause 8 (Semi-commercial activities) of the MoU must explicitly state that the amounts recovered would be utilized towards further O&M of the project and would not be used to recover capital costs.

This culture which vehiculates a life style of its own, discloses its own way of inhabiting cities and houses, of using its furniture, instruments and works of art. URBAN DESIGN The Portuguese have developed two completely different ways of organizing urban settlements in India: - the Medieval – organic city or village - the Renaissance – geometric city In the first case the spatial organization is an efflux of a diffuse popular urban culture. Hilly localizations were usually chosen and the agglomerates grew up in an organic way. In the second type of settlement the "Ideal City of the Renaissance" was used as model when a city was built inside a fortress and from its very beginning. 1 RELIGIOUS ARCHITECTURE Churches and Convents It is in the "Old Conquests" (Velhas Conquistas) that the oldest and most important Churches and convents of Goa are located. A description is made identifying the characteristics of the different periods of their construction in connection with other important religious buildings in places like Bassaim, Damao, Diu, Chaul, etc. The mixture of the European grammars with the local decorative features is a new, rich and exuberant product, full of originality that brilliantly documents the encounter of two civilizations. For the Portuguese dictatorial regime, the ambient of crisis caused by threats of an imminent Indian invasion generated a need to justify the Portuguese permanence in India. This would be accomplished by showing the world the secular history of the Portuguese presence in India, visible symbolically in the great architectural monuments of Old Goa. The Goan monuments of Portu- guese influence thus became a powerful and ideological instrument of propaganda, validating the heritage activity on them. This article will focus on the intended plan of the Gracias commission, as well as its repercussions within the technical staff and the political leaders both in Portugal and in the Estado da Índia. Based on research of primary Portuguese sources, this article contributes to the little-studied and relatively unknown field of the preservation of the architectural heritage in the Portuguese Estado da Índia, and briefly compares this case with similar ones from the colonial period.

    An overview of shipwreck explorations in Goa waters Sila Tripati1 Abstract Since the beginning of maritime archaeological research in Indian waters, marine records housed in archives of India and abroad provide details of the shipwrecks and the loss of Indian ships in foreign waters. Information on more than 200 shipwrecks in Indian waters has been gathered from archival records and attempts made to explore in Goa, Lakshadweep and Tamil Nadu waters. These shipwrecks are dated to the post 16th century AD. Shipwrecks were explored off Sunchi Reef, St George’s Reef and Amee Shoals in Goa waters. Sunchi Reef and St George’s Reef were wooden hulled sailing ships whereas Amee Shoals was a steel hulled steam engine shipwreck. Sunchi Reef exploration led to the recovery of guns, barrels of handguns, storage jars, Chinese ceramics, elephant tusks, hippopotamus teeth, iron anchors and other items that are evidence of Indo-Portuguese trade and commerce in the 17th century. Exploration off St George’s Reef uncovered timber and terracotta artefacts such as column capitals, drums, ridge tiles, roof and floor tiles and chimney bricks The bricks and tiles have the distinct inscription of Basel Mission Tile works 1865. Amee shoals exploration revealed the remains of a steel hulled steam engine shipwreck in which boilers, boiler bricks, and engine parts were found. The stamps on the flanges and the name on the firebricks suggest a British origin, dating from the 1880s or later.
