Til gengæld var der noget mere spænding om, hvem der rykkede ud af Elitedivisionen. Det blev først afgjort på sidste spilledag, hvor AB rykkede ud. I 1. division blev 2011-sæsonen hur- tigt en kamp mellem Esbjerg og Skanderborg om, hvem der skulle rykke direkte op. Esbjerg vandt denne jyske tvekamp, men Skanderborg rykkede alligevel op i Elitedi- Svanholm have meget at glæde sig over i sæsonen visionen, da holdet vandt over Ishøj i oprykningskampen.
