Telemann: Die Donner-Ode the city and the people. The Book of Lamentations has been set to music by composers 21:30 The Half-Finished Heaven over many centuries, especially the Renaissance composers who used the texts in compositions tailored for the Easter season. Gesualdo's interpretation of The Book of Lamentations must have been shocking to the audiences of the day. Where other lørdag 25. mars composers toned down the musical expression in association with these texts, Gesualdo 15:00 Matiné concert with Inger-Lise Ulsrud applied ground breaking tonal language, marked by ferocity and personal passion. De Wert 19:00 Dead Pope on Trial was one of the most influential French-Flemish madrigal composers in the Renaissance, 21:30 Late Night with Kåre Nordstoga and his later works became a guide for the development of music in the early Baroque period. Rihm's Vigilia is written for choir and chamber ensemble. The contemporary composer uses a recognisable and conventional choral technique, particularly polyphony søndag 26. mars typical of the Renaissance, to link the music back to this period. 11:00 Festival High Mass in Oslo Cathedral 11:00 Festival High Mass in Grønland Church 11:00 Festival High Mass in Frogner Church 11:00 Festival High Mass in Uranienborg Church http://www.oslokirkemusikkfestival.no/index.php?kat_id=77&art_id=783 1/2
