Colleen Coates, CPHR

Colleen is the Senior Leader of Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards at Princess Auto, a national retailer with its Home Office in and 44 stores, 3 distribution centres and more than 2,400 Team Members coast to coast. She has more than 20 years of comprehensive human resources experience including senior leadership positions with , The Dufresne Group, and Convergys Customer Management . She also worked as the National Practice Leader for Total Rewards at People First HR Services where she consulted for organizations in the private, public and non-profit sectors.

In addition to her CPHR, Colleen is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Accredited Executive Compensation Professional (AECP) and is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a Certificate in Human Resource Management as well as a Certificate in Business Administration through .

Colleen has been a member of CPHR MB’s Board for the past two terms as well as being the Chair and Member of several Board and Staff Committees. She is active in her community having volunteered for three youth community Boards and was a published columnist with the Winnipeg Free Press. In 2017 Colleen joined the team of instructors at the University of Winnipeg teaching Compensation & Benefits in the Professional Applied Continuing Education Program.

Janice Harper, CPHR

Janice Harper currently serves as Vice President Human Resources for Industries, and subsidiaries (NFI Group). She is responsible for the people services function across a multi-location and diverse cross border manufacturing and service organization in a public company environment. Janice has worked in progressive human resource and management roles in both the public and private sector. She has significant experience in labour and employee relations and has held Lead Negotiator roles in both the Canadian and US bargaining contexts. Her proven track record in organization culture, employee engagement development and safety and environmental systems management has lead to the creation of HR programs and services that have been key enablers in the achievement of business objectives.

Janice’s recent background includes leading change management initiatives through business restructuring and acquisition and she has a special interest in the areas of organizational communication and talent management initiatives.

Janice holds a Diploma in Creative Communications from Red River Community College and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Winnipeg. She is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and has obtained the Human Resources Compensation Committee designation from the Director’s College at McMaster University (HRCC). She is strongly committed to lifelong learning and has completed her BA in Communications at the University of Winnipeg.

Dr. Lana Adeleye-Olusae, CMC, CPHR, MBA Certified Professional Behavior, Motivators, TriMetrixHD, & EQ Analyst

Lana has over 25 years of experience in providing consulting, training and coaching services in service, information technology, manufacturing, food production and not-for-profit sectors. Lana is a Human Resources Excellence Award-winning CPHR with a Strategic Management Certificate, Post-Graduate Diploma in Education, Bachelor of Agriculture, Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts (Church Administration) and Doctor of Ministry (Leadership Coaching) degrees.

In addition to being the Director of Human Resources at The Manitoba Museum, Lana is also a Delivery Consultant on Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) Network and National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program/Management Advisory Service administered by The Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Canada).

Lana serves professional and business communities in various ways. He is currently serving on the CPD Audit and Membership Committees of CPHR MB, Nigerian Professionals in Manitoba Executive Council (2015 – to date), Manitoba Chambers of Commerce’s Workforce Development Committee, The Manitoba Museum’s Pension and HR & Compensation Committees (2015 to date). He has been on The University of Winnipeg Board of Regents since 2008 and served on the Institute of Management Consultants of Manitoba Council from 2008 to 12.

Robyn Normandale, BA, CPHR

Robyn Normandale has her B.A. in Psychology, her Human Resource Management Certificate (both from the University of Manitoba), and over 10 years of Human Resource Management experience. She has been a proud holder of the CPHR designation since 2007. Robyn has worked in both the private and public sectors, and has had a broad exposure to all aspects of the human resource function, including employee/labour relations, change and strategy management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and workplace health and safety. She is currently the Manager, Organization and People Development at Innovair Group, a proudly Canadian, Winnipeg-- based independent distributor of industrial and medical compressed gases and supplies. Prior to Innovair Group, she was with Manitoba Hydro, a crown corporation and the province’s major energy utility. An engaged and passionate HR practitioner, Robyn has served as a Director at Large on the CPHR Manitoba board since 2013, and has supported its strategic plan as an active contributor on the Governance, Professional Standards, and Self-- Regulation Task Force Committees.
