Travel to Green River

We suggest ying into Grand Junction (GJ), Colorado, and then taking Amtrak to Green River. Just ensure your plane to GJ lands around 2PM, giving you enough time to get to the train station via public bus or taxi. Amtrak departs GJ around 4PM.

If you y into Salt Lake City (SLC) or Provo (PVU) because it is cheapest, be forewarned that they’re quite far from Green River! Amtrak runs from SLC (4AM) to Provo (4:30AM) to Green River (8AM). If you plan to arrive in SLC, we suggest researching bus options (greyhound.com and elevatedtransit.com) to Green River before purchasing your ight. Renting a car at SLC or PVU would be a great option especially if you plan to carpool with others.
