2004 10 3 Accorsi is the seventh coach for the sport at the University. He took 2005 11 2 over the head position after nine years as an assistant coach with the 2006 9 3 Profs. Accorsi has guided Rowan to seven appearances in the NCAA 2007 4 6 Division III Championship Tournament, two trips to the national semifi- 2008 8 2 2009 7 3 nals and seven New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) championships. 2010 9 1 His coaching record stands at 118-51. In 2005, Rowan had an 11-2 mark. The Profs won the NJAC Championship and reached the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament for the second consecutive season. Accorsi was selected the NJAC Coach of the Year and received the Maxwell Football Club Tri- State Coach of the Year Award.

The Profs finished the 2004 season with a 10-3 record and they advanced to the semifinal game of the national tournament. The Profs had a record of 7-3 in 2003. In his first year, Accorsi guided the Profs to the conference title and their 10th appearance in the NCAA Division III Champi- onship Tournament. The football team had a final record of 10-1 and Accorsi was selected the NJAC Coach of the Year.

Accorsi graduated from Nichols College (MA) in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He earned a master's in sports science from the U.S. Sports Academy (Daphne, AL) in 1992 and a master's in business administration from Rowan in 1997.

He is a member of the AFCA, Maxwell Football Club and the New Jersey Football Coaches Association. He is on the South Jersey Chapter of the National Football Foundation committee. Accorsi served as a NCAA representative during the 2007 NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. He is on the Adam Taliaferro Foundation Advisory Committee and previously served on the NCAA Division III East Region Advisory Commit- tee. Accorsi has served on the AFCA Program and Rules & Exhibits Committees in the past. He is also a voting member of the AFCA Division III Coaches Poll. Accorsi is the chair of the AFCA Division III All-America Team Selection Committee.

A 1984 graduate of Salisbury, Wood returned to his alma mater in 1999 as the sixth head coach Empire 8 Championships in program history. Prior, he spent six years in Division II as the head coach at Bowie State Uni- versity. 2011, 2013

Wood began his collegiate coaching career as a volunteer assistant at Salisbury under head ACFC Championships coach Mike McGlinchey in 1984 and became a graduate assistant coach for the Sea Gulls in 2004, 2005 1985. He moved to Bowie State as a graduate assistant coach in 1986, coaching the defensive NCAA Appearances backs and special teams. Wood became a full-time assistant coach with the Bulldogs in 1988, as- 2002, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015 suming the duties of assistant head coach and defensive coordinator while earning his master’s degree in counseling psychology.
