Neil Diamond was born in 1941 in Brooklyn. His career as a singer and songwriter has spanned over five decades starting with the release of You are My Love at Last in 1962. As of 2014, he has sold over 125 million records worldwide and is considered to be the third most successful adult contemporary artist on the Billboard chart, behind Barbra Streisand and Elton John. Diamond was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1984 and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011. He received the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000 and, in 2011, he was recognized at the Kennedy Center Honors. He has ten #1 hit singles: Cracklin’ Rosie, Song Sung Blue, Longfellow Serenade, Desiree, You Don’t Bring Me Flowers, Love on the Rocks, America, Yesterday’s Songs, I’m a Believer, and Heartlight . Diamond released his newest album in October 2014, All-Time Greatest Hits, and it features 22 of his most popular songs, including Forever In Blue Jeans, Sweet Caroline, Kentucky Woman, and Red Red Wine . Diamond’s last concert in Vancouver was in 2012. His 2015 tour includes cities throughout North America, but Vancouver will be his only British Columbia stop. Show Seating — Seating in Rogers Arena is in Section 107, Rows 11, 12 and 13; Section 116, Rows 4, 6 and 10. These seats are on the side of the arena with a good view of the stage. This is the most expensive seat- ing category. Seats are assigned according to the order that you book for this tour. Activity: Generally light activity. Depending on your seat location, there might be a long walk inside Rogers Arena to reach your seat or the restrooms, and there are steps to/from your seat. The coach transfers you from the hotel to the main entrance to Rogers Arena, then you are on your own to find your seat and find the coach after the performance. The tour director is unable to assist you personally with this, as there are thousands of people arriving and departing at the same time. Tour Policies Payments: A deposit of $200 per person is requested at the time of booking and the balance is due March 5, 2015. Cancellation Policy : Up to March 5, your tour payments will be refunded less an administrative charge of $50 per person. From March 6 to March 24, the cancellation charge is 50% of the tour fare. From March 25 to April 22, the cancellation charge is 70% of the tour fare. After April 22, there is no refund. Fare Changes: Changes to taxes and surcharges from tour suppliers can occur at any time and are beyond the control of Wells Gray Tours, therefore Wells Gray Tours reserves the right to adjust fares due to such changes up until the time of departure. TIC Insurance: Plan 1 (Cancellation) is offered on this tour since BC residents have medical insurance already and do not need a com- prehensive policy.
