Oak and pine forest inhabitant. Green Dots: Museum records and observations Gambelia copei Cope’s Leopard Lizard Population in southern San Diego County entirely within the East county MSCP area. Majority of distribution occurs in Baja California. Population represents the only U.S. occurrence of species. Green Dots: Museum records and observations Phrynosoma mcallii Flat Tailed Horned Lizard Populations to desert regions of East county MSCP area. Habitat specialist on wind-blown sands and adjacent creosote bush desert. Entire species distribution confined to the Lower Colorado Desert. Green Dots: Museum records and observations Rana muscosa Mountain Yellow-legged Frog Only population in San Diego County on Palomar Mountain extirpated. Represented the southernmost population of species. Possibility that it is still present in remote regions of Palomar Mountain.
