    Towards a Proposed Collaboration System of Selected Learning Resource Centers in the Education and Training Units of the AFP-DND Nolie G. Enem, PhD Benguet State University Abstract. This study aimed to propose an inter-institutional library collaboration of selected learning resource centers (LRCs) in the three education and training units of the Armed Forces of the Philippines- Department of National Defense. It studied the faculty and students‟ perceptions on 1) the level of provision, and 2) the level of satisfaction, in relation to collection, personnel, financial support, services and use, physical facilities, and technological advancement. Along these areas, the 3) significant relationship between the level of provision and level of satisfaction were also studied. The 4) significant differences in the areas of concern when respondents were grouped by institution were also studied. Respondents were chosen through purposive sampling. The descriptive statistics through utilizing questionnaires was interpreted through The Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software, with the correlation determined through The Spearman Rank Order Correlation Coefficient and Two-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA).     Ibaloys “Reclaiming” Baguio: The Role of Intellectuals Jimmy Balud Fong The recognition of the United States Supreme Court of “native title” in 1909 has been recognized as a landmark decision for indigenous peoples all over the world. Also called the Cariño doctrine, the ruling honors a Baguio Ibaloy whose ancestral land would eventually be expropriated for the construction of Baguio as an American hill station, later as the Philippines’ unofficial summer capital. Fast-forward to 2014. Descendants of an Ibaloy family reclaim the land on which Casa Vallejo stands. Built in 1909, the building was originally Dormitory 4 for American soldiers. Salvador Vallejo converted it into a hotel in 1923. Persons with fond memories of the hotel claim the refurbished building is a ‘national heritage’ and should not be the subject of ancestral land claims. The year 2014 also saw the largest turnout of Ibaloys in and around Baguio for the celebration on Febru- ary 23 of Ibaloi Day, at the government-designated Ibaloi Heritage Garden in Burnham Park. Products of colonial and national educational systems, Ibaloy professionals and intellectuals played key roles in the institutionalization and implementation of such activities. Despite their breakthroughs for recognition nationally through certain constitutional provisions, and internationally, are indigenous peoples now trapped in the discourse of nation?     UNIVERSITY OF BAGUIO RESEARCH JOURNAL The UNIVERSITY OF BAGUIO Research Journal is published semi-annually in June and December by the University of Baguio Research and Development Center, Baguio City, Philippines. Its general objective is to publish scholarly research works in the different fields of knowledge. Its specific objective is to encourage research on problems and issues regarding CAR and neighboring regions and on the culture of the different ethnic groups of the Cordilleras. Call for papers. Manuscripts submitted for publication must be in an electronic copy and should not exceed ten (10) pages. Dimensions of the paper is 0.6" margin on all sides, with a 6" x 9" paper size. Use the Rockwell font with an 11.5 point size. The text is justified, using normal paragraphs wherein the first line is indented five character spaces from the left margin. Observe single-spaced lines within a paragraph, and double-space between paragraphs or between headings/subheadings and the subsequent paragraph. The following sections must be present in the manuscript: an Abstract of about 200 words, Background of the Study, Methodology, Results / Discussion, Conclusion and Recommendations. The Tables & Figures (optional) and References should be placed on a separate page. Authors shall assume full responsibility for conveyed opinions and the accuracy of statements in the articles.
