Job Title: Dishwasher Work Dates: 27 to 6, 2021

Position Description: This is an entry level food service position which assists the other Cooks and Chefs with food preparation, primarily by washing dishes and other kitchen cleanliness projects.

Responsibilities: • Help maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and food storage areas • Clean and sanitize tableware, silverware, glassware and cooking utensils • Maintain a clean and organized workspace • Sweep, mop floors, and empty garbage and food scrap buckets • Assist other food service Staff as needed

Required Skills and Abilities: • Time and space management skills • Physical stamina • Friendly personality • Willingness to learn and desire to help out where needed • Experience in a professional kitchen is a plus, but not required • Must be 18 years or older • If hired, Alaska Food worker training will be required

Working Conditions & Physical Demands: The physical demands of this position include lifting and carrying 50# sacks, moving heavy trays of product, standing for long periods, and loading/unloading heavy objects from hot ovens, coolers, freezers, mixers, and dishwashers.

Work Schedule: This position works 8 to 9 hours per day, 5 days per week, and will include some split shift. The first shift begins at 8am and the last shift ends at 10:00pm

Compensation and Benefits: • $11.50 per hour • Free housing and three meals each day • Transportation between Anchorage and Kennicott Glacier Lodge at the beginning and end of work dates • Split of Lodge Guest gratuities (Tips = $300 to $500 per month in 2019) • Performance bonus of $500 for completing agreed work dates
