Sunday 22 September Coach transport from Haywards Heath and Uckfield may be added for Days 1, 2 Lamberhurst to Mayfield – 16 km / 10 miles and 3 and Crawley and East Grinstead for Day 4. We return to Lamberhurst for the start of the final leg of our journey through the Weald. We soon cross back into East Sussex as the route takes us southwest to wards Bewl Water Reservoir. We follow a path along the western edge of this vast area of water before arriving in the village of Wadhurst. The walk then continues across undulating farmland and through Wealden woodland before arriving back at Mayfield. We will have time no doubt to enjoy a well-earned drink of our choosing before we journey home.
