Teressa Hill launched her career in hair design in the early 1980's, passing both Oregon and California state board exams. She began developing her skills as a hairstylist under the tutelage of acclaimed haircutting authority Gary Gerard, founder of Gerard's International Advanced Haircutting Institute and world-renowned wig maker René Hafid, originator of René of Paris wigs. Although excelling in barbering, grooming, haircutting, styling, application of extensions and wig work, Hill felt hair color was the final touch to completing her knowledge in the chemistry of color and became a certified colorist and technical advisor for two well-known color lines, Framesi and Schwarzkopt. Hill's natural sense of style and diverse creative ability lends itself to Print, Television and Film. Her work has graced the covers of, and appeared in, numerous national and international magazines such as In Style, Glamour, Esquire and People. In the course of her career she has worked on many Films and countless Television shows as Department Head Hair or Personal Hairstylist and has earned a Hair & Makeup Guild award nomination. Teressa has dual U.S. and Canadian citizenship. She is based in but happy to travel.
