Getting to Know You Jordan Taylor, a 26-year-old standout from Apopka, Fla., joined Corvette Racing in 2012 as the third driver in the team’s long-distance events. He resumes that role in 2017 in the No. 63 Corvette C7.R with Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen. Taylor won Le Mans in 2015 with Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner in the sister No. 64 Corvette. The son of championship-winning driver Wayne Taylor, this second- generation racer literally grew up at race tracks. In addition to endurance duty for Corvette Racing, Taylor is in his fifth season campaigning for Wayne Taylor Racing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s Prototype class. He won the 2013 GRAND-AM DP championship in 2013 and currently drives with brother Ricky in the Wayne Taylor Racing DPi prototype. They won at Daytona and Sebring to start 2017.

Taylor and co-driver Bill Lester piloted the Autohaus Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro to a runner-up finish in the 2011 Rolex GT championship, just two points short of the title.

Taylor is currently pursuing a business marketing degree at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fla. He is one of the TUDOR Championship’s most avid users of social media including Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Periscope. Remains an avid go-kart competitor. He owns a dog – Fonzie a ‘goldedoodle’.
