Banksia marginata - Silver Banksia

Local Indigenous Species.

Shrub or Tree To 7 metres

Widespread species now considered rare on the Volcanic Plains.

A number of very old, possibly remnant plants exist at this site. A valuable seed source.

Bursaria spinosa - Sweet Bursaria

Local Indigenous Species.

Shrub or Small tree to 8 metres

Widespread species now considered rare on the Volcanic Plains.

Only a few remnant plants surviving at this site.

Local Indigenous Species.

Shrub or Small Tree 3 - 8 metres

Common and widespread species with only a few existing on this site.

Leptospermum continentale - Prickly Tea-tree

Local Indigenous Species.

Shrub 1 - 4 metres

Common and widespread species with a large population existing on this site, mainly in drainage lines. Strong evidence of regeneration.

Melicytus angustifolius subsp. divaricatus - Tree Violet VVP Form

Local Indigenous Species.

Shrub 1 - 4 metres

Uncommon species on the Victorian Volcanic Plain that could in future be classified as vulnerable because of declining populations due to clearing.

Local Indigenous Species.

Shrub or small tree 2 - 8 metres

A widespread species (mainly in eastern Victoria) with a small possibly remnant population existing on this site.
