AACE International, the authority for total cost management, proudly announces the first annual International Total Cost Management Conference November 14‐15, 2012 in Dubai, UAE. The two‐day conference, modeled after our highly acclaimed Annual Meeting, will be the first educational and technical conference AACE International has sponsored outside of North America. We invite your company or organization to be part of this historic event as an official sponsor and/or registering your employees to the International TCM Conference. AACE International is a 501(c)(3) non‐profit professional association. Since 1956, AACE International has provided its members with the resources they need to enhance their performance and ensure continued growth and success. With over 7,500 members world‐wide, AACE International serves project and cost management professionals in the disciplines of project management, cost engineering, estimating, planning, scheduling, project controls, risk management, claims, and other disciplines within total cost management. AACE International has members in 87 countries and cover 80 local sections. The Venue:The Hyatt Regency Dubai is a modern, luxury hotel located in the Deira district along the Deira Corniche, Dubai’s renowned waterfront promenade. The Hyatt Regency hotel is also within walking distance of the Gold Souk, the Spices Souk and the Textile Souk, within 2 km to Al Bastakiya a historic district in Dubai and most of the land marks including tallest building in the world (Burj Khalifa) are within 10 km. The Participants: We anticipate between 300‐400 registrants drawn from the ranks of total cost management practitioners throughout the world. Because of the historic significance of this first meeting outside of North America, we expect that many experienced TCM practitioners will want to be part of this event. Faris, is Senior Vice President for Oracle’s Primavera Global Business Unit. The business unit was formed when Oracle acquired Primavera Systems, Inc. in November 2008, and focuses on project portfolio management solutions for project‐intensive industries. As co‐founder and executive vice president of Primavera, Mr. Faris led product development at Primavera for more than 25 years. His technical and product vision enabled Primavera to keep pace with innovations in computer hardware and software by developing and shipping more 60 releases of twelve distinct project portfolio management products.
