The Auction will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m., November 21, 2009, and continue without interruption until all items have been auctioned. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. in order to give guests an opportunity to view the various items prior to bidding. 2. In order to enter a bid, bidder must raise his/her bid paddle high and attract the attention of the spotter or auctioneer. 3. Bidder must use only the paddle number assigned to him/ her. That number is the bidder’s identification. 4. PAYMENT BY THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER IS TO BE MADE THE EVENING OF THE AUCTION. Payment may be made with cash, check, Master Card or Visa. PAYMENT IN FULL THAT EVENING IS MANDATORY. 5. All sales are final, and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items. 6. Items may be removed that evening only by exhibiting a paid receipt at the time of departure. 7. Values set forth opposite items auctioned are donor’s estimate and are not warranted by Sumner Academy for tax purposes or for general value. 8. Unless otherwise specified, all auction items and services MUST BE USED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF NOVEMBER 21, 2009. 9. All auction items must be removed from the premises when the auction is complete at the purchaser’s own risk, with the exception of the large items. Sumner Academy cannot assume responsibility for items left after that time. Information regarding delivery of items will be available at the cashier’s desk. Special arrangements for pickup or delivery of larger items must be made at the time of payment. 10. Sumner Academy makes no express or implied warranties on auction items other than those from the manufacturer which may be with your purchase. 11. Decisions of the auctioneer shall be final. 12. To avoid disappointment, and as a courtesy to donors, WINNING BIDDERS SHOULD CONTACT THE DONORS of condos, dinners, hotel packages, trips, sporting events and all other services as soon as possible after the Auction to make necessary arrangements. 8 Live Auction 01 The Kindergarten Quilt Sumner Academy’s Kindergarten children have put their hands of approval on this year’s quilt.
