TAM signs comprehensive maintenance contract with Swiss company SkyWork Airlines Örebro, Sweden: Swedish aircraft maintenance company Täby Air Maintenance, TAM, has signed an agreement with Swiss airline SkyWork Airlines to provide line- and base maintenance for its new fleet of Saab 2000 50-seat airliners. SkyWork Airlines is based in , . The company serves 20 destinations. In July, SkyWork Airlines began operating two Saab 2000 aircraft, initially on the route Bern-- , where the state-of-the-art Saab 2000 is an ideally suited aircraft in terms of speed, economy and passenger comfort. TAM supports SkyWork Airlines with technical services needed to achieve the highest possible availability, and to ensure this, a line-station with a specialized Saab 2000 engineer has been organized with SkyWork Airlines at their Bern operational base.
