Seeding for National Tournaments are determine by: previous years medal winners; host team; previous district placement over past years

A. Individual teams that medal in the National Championship bracket the previous year, are seeded first

B. The host team shall be the 1st seed after the 2014 medal winners

C. Districts that placed 1 through 16, earn points up to three years earn points and are seeded third 1. This is for Championship Bracket only. 2. Districts that has multiple teams will retain points and additional placements 3. Based on a point system, districts will be placed in order, with the highest total next in line after the host Ties are broken by the best finish in latest year

D. All Districts were drawn blind in order to establish the order of placement in pools after Steps A-C are completed The remainder of the teams are seeded using this draw

E. General Information 1. If Medal teams of seeded districts do not attend the National Tournament, their position will be vacated and team will just move up the ladder of placement 2. The order of draw in Section C, shall apply to district gold medal team, then silver team, then bronze team etc. 3. First and Second place teams will advance to the Championship Bracket play. Other teams will advance to National Classic tournament a. There is a tie breaker formula to break ties 4. The local host committee is not involved in the placement of teams into pools 5. Order of pool play and bracket schedule are predetermined and submitted to the local host by the National Director of Competition
