Matra played Jean-Pierre Beltoise, Denny Hulme, Jacky Ickx, a major part in this season, which saw several winners. Jackie Stewart would have dominated in John Surtees, Pedro Rodriguez his french race car, if not his hand would have been injured at about mid season. He won this Grand Prix after an exciting race with Jim Clark as his major competitor and once again as the man of the field. But Gurneys fabulous but heavy Eagle Weslake V12 won this Belgium GP. A victory that so Original available many other privateers tried to achieve so hard - winning a F1 GP with your own construction and engine ! #69 Jackie Stewart, Winner German Grand Prix 1968 - On canvas: 180 x 100 cm, 150 x 70 cm, 100 x 50 cm, 80 x 40 cm - Framed prints: 50 x 60 cm, 40 x 50 cm, 25 x 30 cm John Surtees keeps his Honda RA300 in the lead at the Italian Grand Prix 1967 - just inches ahead of the Brabham-Repco of Jack Brabham. To win Monza you had to have the chance and knowledge to win a slipstream duel. Like Jackie Stewart two years later or Peter Gethin in 1971. Clark had lead the Monza GP 1967 two times, but a tyre puncture near the half and a faulty fuel pump did the rest to his second lead after having faught back through the field. So it was Surtees and Brabham fighting for the victory - and John Surtees just went over the finish line 0,2 secs ahead of the Australian. #452-E John Surtees, Honda RA 301 - On canvas: 180 x 100 cm, 150 x 70 cm, 100 x 50 cm, 80 x 40 cm - Framed prints: 50 x 60 cm, 40 x 50 cm, 25 x 30 cm #361 John Surtees, Honda RA 300, Winner Italian Grand Prix 1967 - On canvas: 180 x 100 cm, 150 x 70 cm, 100 x 50 cm, 80 x 40 cm - Framed prints: 50 x 60 cm, 40 x 50 cm, 25 x 30 cm John Surtees on Ferrari 312 leading Jackie Stewart on BRM in the early stage of the Monte Carlo GP. This is one of my largest original art works. It measures 70 x 100 cm, so about 28 x 40 inches. I just like this Ferrari 312 very much. Still in the era of F1 without wings, the 1966 generation is one of my favourites. #213 John Surtees, Ferrari 312 V12, Monaco Grand Prix 1966 - On canvas: 120 x 160 cm, 180 x 100 cm, 150 x 90 cm, 120 x 70 cm, 100 x 60 cm, 80 x 50 cm - Framed prints: 50 x 60 cm, 40 x 50 cm, 25 x 30 cm #178 Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips, Ferrari 156, 1961 #16 Chris Amon, Ferrari 312, Circuit Bugatti, Le Mans, 1968 - On canvas: 180 x 100 cm, 150 x 70 cm, 100 x 50 cm, 80 x 40 cm - On canvas: 160 x 120 cm, 150 x 100 cm, 100 x 70 cm, 80 x 60 cm - Framed prints: 50 x 60 cm, 40 x 50 cm, 25 x 30 cm - Framed prints: 50 x 60 cm, 40 x 50 cm, 25 x 30 cm #452-A Jacky Ickx, Ferrari 312, F1 1968 - On canvas: 180 x 100 cm, 150 x 70 cm, 100 x 50 cm, 80 x 40 cm - Framed prints: 50 x 60 cm, 40 x 50 cm, 25 x 30 cm #70 Phil Hill, Ferrari 156, V6, - On canvas: 180 x 100 cm, 150 x 70 cm, 100 x 50 cm, 80 x 40 cm - Framed prints: 50 x 60 cm, 40 x 50 cm, 25 x 30 cm Monaco Grand Prix 1962: Dan Gurney already drives the 804 Porsche and achieves the third best time, though as his lap time is equal with two others, he starts from 5th place on the grid.
