Since 1992, the year the Arizona Fall League started, 13 of the 21 no. 1 overall picks in the MLB draft will have played in the AFL. Thirty-four first-round draft choices fill the rosters in 2012, including Tim Beckham (Phoenix/Tampa Bay), the only no. 1 overall pick in the Fall League this season.
