Head and body In white: Round 1: 6 sc in MR (6) Round 2: inc around (12) Round 3: (sc, inc) around (18) Round 4: (2 sc, inc) around (24) Round 5: (3 sc, inc) around (30) Rounds 6-8: sc around (30) Round 9: (3 sc, dec) around (24) Round 10: (2 sc, dec) around (18) Stuff head firmly Round 11: (sc, dec) around (12) Round 12: dec around (6) Switch to red: Round 13: inc around (12) Round 14: (sc, inc) around (18) Rounds 15-18: sc around (18) Round 19: (2 sc, inc) around (24) Rounds 20-23: sc around (24) Round 24: (2 sc, dec) in BLO around (18) Round 25: (sc, dec) around (12) Stuff body firmly and insert one magnet if using. Round 26: dec around (6) Finish off and sew closed. Hat In red: Round 1: Surface sc 12 sts on the upper back quadrant of the head in a circle (12)

Copyright © Jessica Chambers 2021 Round 2: (2 sc, dec) around (9) Round 3: sc around (9) Begin stuffing, then stuff as you go. Do not over stuff. Round 4: (sc, dec) around (6) Round 5: dec around (3) Finish off and sew closed. Ears Make 2, in white: Round 1: in MR, 2 sc, dc, ch1, tr, ch 1, dc, sc. Join to first st with sl st. Finish off leaving a tail for sewing. Sew to the head. Arms Repeat once for each arm. In black: Join yarn at shoulder, ch 9, turn Row 1: skip 1st st, sl st in each ch, last sl st joins the body in same stitch as yarn join. Finish off. Legs Repeat once for each leg. In black: Join yarn where leg should begin, ch 17, turn. Row 1: skip 1st st, hdc in next 3 sts, sl st in each ch, last sl st joins the body in same stitch as yarn join. Finish off. Weave in ends.

For his tuft of hair, I attached a homemade tassel of white yarn to his forehead, trimmed it to size and frayed it. Embroider on his eyes, eyebrows and mouth with black yarn.
