Featured guest was Coach Don Fambrough discussing his favorite Media Relations topic, Mizzou. This year, TJC will be hosting three similar events featuring game video Mike Werner 266-6576 and discussion of strategies and other inside "stuff". A & M will be in town with their regimented fans doing the strangest of cheers, but doing them very loudly. Tickets at $15 adults, $10 for students. The band is the finale event for the 90 minute Collage Concert which features short performances by KU 14 OSU instrumental and vocal music groups (from classical to jazz), a little dance and also a video presentation from the visual arts/design departments. Tickets are available 21 @ Baylor at the door. TJC volunteers manned a booth for TJC at the annual Black Expo August 26 at the 28 CU Expocentre. KU at the fair. If you're at the State Fair in Hutchinson on September 16, stop by the KU booth and attend the KU Pep Rally. If you're at the fair on any date and want to give some time to KU, the booth is staffed by volunteers, and KU can use your help. Contact: [email protected] or 785-864-7103 to pitch in. The Booth Hall of Athletics at Allen Fieldhouse will be open on football game-days. Hours will depend on kick- off-times. For the first game, the hall will open at 10 am and close 30 min prior to kickoff. Kids (13 & under) Birthdays at KU Football (and other KU sporting events-except men's basketball) For $299, you get 20 tickets to the game, pizza and drinks for 20 kids, an autographed football from Coach Mangino, a visit from the Jayhawk or Baby Jay, coupons to KUSTORE.COM and 20 posters PLUS a birthday cake. Your party will be in the birthday tent on the hill. Junior Jayhawks is the official KU athletics kids club. The annual $25 membership gets a junior Jayhawk a t- shirt, tickets to the first 3 football games, free admission to KU soccer, volleyball, women's basketball, softball and baseball games, a membership card, book cover, shoe laces, a growth chart, a puzzle.
