The contents of an abandoned kitchen and wheelie bins become the greatest drum set in the world; plastic bags are an amazing musical instrument and the human body becomes a unique sound machine.

Tag along for a day in the life of a bunch of musical misfits as they reinvigorate the junk that the world has forgotten.

RECOGNITION WINNER: Critic’s Pick, Sydney Festival 2018 & QUOTES The audience stand and cheer wanting more from the performers and the crowd is full of smiles as they exit the stage” The Source

“Oded has been wonderful to work with during the planning of The Box Show season at the Glasshouse. He is transparent in his communication and always willing to negoti- ate and be flexible to meet the needs of the venue and our audiences. The Glasshouse initially planned to present 2 x performances of The Box Show as part of our 2020 Ed- ucation @ Glasshouse Program, however, demand from schools was so high it resulted in a waitlist of 1,200 children. Oded was incredibly excited to hear of the response and did not hesitate to work with me to schedule an additional 2 x performances to meet the demand.

Unfortunately, the 2020 Season was cancelled due to COVID closures, but Oded was very supportive and willing to move immediately to 2021 to ensure our local students did not miss out altogether. Once again, schools have enthusiastically booked to The Box Show and we have 4 performances completely sold out across 2 days. Some schools are travelling up to 100kms to attend.” Bec Washington, Event Services Coordinator, Glasshouse Port Macquarie
