All of your sacrifi ces, success, and dedication have enabled you to join us October 17 – 21, 2018 in West Springfi eld, Massachusetts. This is your opportunity to be a part of one of the premier equitation events! We are thrilled that this year marks the fi rst year that New York horse shows will now be allowed to offer NEHC Hunter Seat Medals. This is exclusive to USEF horse shows in the State of New York and is effective May 1, 2018. We would like to take a moment to recognize NEEC committee member, Joe Dotoli, on receiving the USEF Lifetime Achievement Award! We are so proud of the work that Joe has done and will continue to do, not only for the New England Equitation Championships but for the equestrian sport. Congrats again Joe! Please remember to check our, Instagram, Facebook page "New England Equitation Championships" and our website www.newenglandequitation.com for event updates, details, and reservations for hotel rooms and the junior dinner. The New England Equitation Championships is considered one of, if not the best, equitation fi nals in the country. It is because of the hard work of many individuals and the generous support of our sponsors that we are able to hold these fi nals each year. We are extremely proud of the opportunity it presents for outstanding horse-people to test themselves and take their place in NEEC history. We look forward to seeing you this October! Enjoy the 43rd Anniversary of the New England Equitation Championships! With the help of Liz Rooney and Gerry Reeves they started the 1977 – 1980 process to convincing the New England Horseman’s Shamrock Stables, Portsmouth RI Council that an equitation medal was needed. In doing so they created the New England Equitation 1981 – 1983 Committee which organizes and runs the New England Flying Horse Stable, Hamilton, MA Horseman’s Council Hunt Seat Medal Finals (hereafter "the Finals").
