Hockey Australia (HA) is the national governing body responsible for the sport of hockey in Australia as recognised by the International Hockey Federation, (FIH), the Australian Government through the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) and Commonwealth Games Australia (CGA). HA is responsible for leading the growth and success of hockey in Australia from the national teams, through to grassroots community level participation. HA operates under a federated model with eight state and territory associations delivering the sport at the local level.
