1. 2019 Savannah Golf Championship sets attendance record The Savannah Golf Championship once again experienced incredible community support last month at The Landings Club – Deer Creek Course. The 2019 event had over 21,000 fans in attendance throughout the week, good for a new tournament record. The event has quickly become a player and fan favorite on the Web.com Tour in just two seasons and will look to build momentum into 2020.

2. The Web.com Tour continues play through the end of the season The Web.com Tour continues play this week at the Dormie Network Classic at Briggs Ranch in , . The Tour will play for the next 19 consecutive weeks through the conclusion of the season at the Web.com in Evansville, Indiana. Tyler McCumber now leads The 25 standings despite not having a victory this season. McCumber has been consistent all year with six top-15 finishes including a T12 at the Savannah Golf Championship.

3. McCarthy continues quest for PGA TOUR card Savannah Golf Championship winner, Dan McCarthy, continues play this week at the Dormie Network Classic at Briggs Ranch. McCarthy is currently No. 11 in The 25 standings with 533 points. It is estimated that players with 830 points or more at the end of the Regular Season will go on to earn their PGA TOUR card. Despite a slow start to his season, McCarthy took home his first Web.com Tour title in Savannah after holding off a late charge from Web.com Tour rookie Scottie Scheffler.

4. Sam Burns enjoys memorable week at Harbour Town Inaugural Savannah Golf Championship winner, Sam Burns, earned his second top-10 PGA TOUR finish this year at the RBC Heritage last week. Burns used a final-round 70 to finish the week in ninth, his second best finish this season. With the top-10, Burns moved up to No. 77 in the FedExCup standings. Burns also had a memorable week off the course as he proposed to his longtime girlfriend on Friday of tournament week.
