NATIONAL STUDENT-ATHLETES GET ALL ACCESS TO 2015 HALL OF FAME WEEKEND FUTURE LEADERS OF "THE GAME" IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE LOTT IMPACT TROPHY

CANTON, OHIO - The Legacy Leadership Project (LLP) is part of the Pro Hall of Fame’s Ambassador Program and presented by The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation, home of the Lott IMPACT Trophy in Newport Beach, Calif. The LLP is an NCAA and NFL approved mentoring program for high school football players entering their senior seasons.

Based on the inspiration of Gold Jacket, (Class of 2001), the LLP has evolved into a powerful and life-changing opportunity for aspiring leaders since 2009.

Student-athletes nominated by their coaches submit essays and attend a selection day event where committee members interview them before being matched for a mentor pairing with a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. That relationship begins during the memorable Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival in Canton, Ohio, the birthplace of the NFL.

Highlights of the activities during the weekend celebration include:

• “First ” – A human chain of 2,000 children will pass a football along a three-mile route from where the NFL was founded in downtown Canton to the front steps of the Hall. The special event will surround the celebration of 50 with the first Super Bowl High School Honor Roll Wilson Golden Football handed out. The Super Bowl High School Honor Roll recognizes the high schools and communities that have contributed to Super Bowl history. This season, the high schools of every head coach or player to have appeared in a Super Bowl will receive a commemorative golden football produced by Wilson.

• Ambassador Community Outreach allows the LLP students to volunteer in the community alongside their mentors to experience the privilege and responsibility that comes with the honor of lifelong leadership. • The Grand Parade will feature the student-athletes in their own vehicles as they ride the route wearing their high school football jerseys. The parade annual attracts more than 200,000 spectators.

In addition, the student-athletes will go behind the scenes with access to the following events as the personal guest of their Pro Football Hall of Fame Mentor:

• Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner Golden Jacket Ceremony. More than 4,500 fans witness the new Class of Enshrinees walk through a gauntlet of more than 100 Gold Jackets to take center take and receive the coveted Hall of Fame Gold Jacket. • Enshrinement Ceremony is an emotional evening as the Class of 2015 – , Tim Brown, , , , , Mick Tingelhoff and – officially join the most exclusive club in all of sports, the Pro Football Hall of Fame. • NFL/Hall of Fame Game, a preseason classic, kicks off the 2015 NFL season as the and Steelers face each other at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.

THE LLP CLASS OF 2015

Jerome "Boosh" Bohuslavizki, II • Mentor: Ron Yary PFHOF Class of 2001 and LLP Mentor since 2009 • Outside Linebacker from Santa Margarita (Calif.) High School • 3.8 GPA with an interest in Biology and Naval Academy

"Just the thought of learning from one of the greats of the game has motivated me to be more on my game than ever before. Being mentored by a Gold Jacket is going to give us (team) an edge in a game that is won by inches."

Jerome's coach, Sean Curtis spoke about the meaning of the LLP selection, "When looking at the Lott IMPACT Trophy, I see the silver lining behind why we play this beautiful sport. So much of football is about the daily battles, what you are doing when nobody is watching, and the challenge of leading your peers in a way that’s not always going to make you the most popular. To put it simply, it builds character. "

Ruben Triscareno • Mentor: PFHOF Class of 1997 and LLP Mentor since 2010 • Linebacker/Running Back from Century High School in Santa Ana, Calif. • 4.1 GPA with an interest in Criminal Justice

"I'm interested to meet a professional player and to go out of state. I've never done either before! I am greatly interested in receiving life advice as well, since these players have been through it all and it will be interesting to hear what they have to say."

Ruben's coach, Andrew Lapic spoke about what this type of opportunity means for an athlete from his program. "Ruben has grown up in a tough area and worked hard to succeed. It proves that despite your circumstances, tenacity truly does pay off. I am extremely grateful and honored that the Lott IMPACT Trophy and Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation has selected Ruben for this honor."

Chairman of the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation, John Hamilton shared the following when addressing the match between the Lott IMPACT Trophy and the LLP.

"We care about and character. The LLP encourages high school players to embrace character on and off the field in a way that no other program can, by connecting the future leaders of the sport with the elite leadership of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The IMPACT of this program is both immediate and enduring."
